A brief spoken reflection (YouTube) by Neil T. Anderson about discovering "freedom in Christ," with emphasis on understanding the phrase "in Christ" (noting Ephesians), the impetus to share the teaching, past pushback from some churches over views of grace, and gratitude that more people are now receptive while acknowledging ongoing growth in understanding.

You know, once we started to learn about our freedom in Christ based on what the Bible says, it's no big secret. It's right there in the Bible. But there were verses that we just didn't understand what they meant, particularly like in Christ. We knew it was a big deal because it's all throughout books like Ephesians. What does that mean? Once we began to understand that, we just couldn't stop sharing it with other people. And in those days, there was some pushback. There were a lot of churches that teach, that taught a different view of grace and our position in Christ, and we're not seeing that as much anymore. So we consider that God is opening up people's eyes and we're grateful for that. But there's always going to be more people, obviously that we're all, all of us are learning more about our freedom every day. It's not like we've arrived and somebody else hasn't. We're just continuing to see God's grace and him revealing Himself to us and in turn being able to share that with others. That's really special for both of us.
