If I don't do this, Manda's gonna call me out

Dan and Amanda introduce Dawson, whose testimony about freedom for the average guy aligns with their Father's Day themes. They ask him to share his childhood and the path that led him into ministry.

How did you get to that point? Like, just give us, 'cause I know you've been in ministry for years and help our audience to know a little bit about how you got there. But why don't we, if I don't do this, Amanda's gonna, she's gonna call me out. Tell us about you a little bit and your growing up years. When was that? Where was that? What was life like for you growing up? Oh man, get— let's get to the— let's get to some of that nitty-gritty.
I just love this. It just started, it just started, and I'm just over here being such a good girl, writing my notes. I was taking notes, Dawson. You said freedom for the average guy, and I wrote everyday average Joe freedom. And because when we had talked about it, I mean, I didn't invite you thinking, hey, I know all I need to know about Dawson's story, let's have him on to this particular story. I, I just— we just knew in prayer it was going to be Dawson and, and that it would fall potentially Father's Day month. Like, there were some things I thought, but when you and I talked during your sound check, Dawson, and, and you explained to me what you thought your testimony was, yeah, I thought it was so strong. So you should know, guys, I'm blessing y'all and this conversation I think the Lord has a lot of really good treasure in here, especially because I know the, the months that you're coming after in the show. We've got some really thick, heavy slogs, necessary, necessary conversations that we as freedom seekers and speakers should be talking about, right? It is, it is good and right that we had spent this time where the Lord has had us, but Also, just as we're starting, this is good and right. Like, you, whatever the Lord is sending from you, with you, Dawson, you should know, I think it's going to be a good word delivered in a right season. So I want to bless you both as men, as fathers, um, to, to really be receptive to however. I've got, I've got no, I've got no binds on you, Dan, though. You did good. You did good. Because we do want a starting point. We want to locate you in time and space because that'll tell us something in your story too.
Good. Well, I— yeah, that's, that's great.
