A short, multi-speaker podcast excerpt where SPEAKER C recounts how a pastor friend (Dennis Wadley) introduced Neil to a church and preached the Gospel "I am" statements. SPEAKER C describes translating and contextualizing those sermons into Spanish and how the message, initially thought to be for others, ultimately applied to himself—prompted by his wife. Other speakers (SPEAKER A, Rob) respond with relatable comments about spouses exposing heart issues.

That was when a friend of mine who's a pastor, Dennis Wadley, we'd studied with under Neil at Biola, said, hey, Neil's in my church this weekend. I know him. He's a friend. And he started preaching all the. All the I am statements week by week. And. And I said, could I preach that? Could. Could you send me your sermons? And. And I'll translate them, contextualize them in Spanish. And so I started. Before I really knew the depth of the message, I started preaching the message. And so prep and preparing. It was like, w. Wow, this is really powerful. And so to that remnant. And then I thought, oh, this is so good for them, right? This so good for them. You know? And then. And then it was. My wife, Nancy said, what about you? Well, I'm. I'm getting it. I'm so good for them. And then God was like, you need this.
Amen. Bless. Bless good wives. Bless the Lord for good wives.
She sounds like my wife. Like, she. She can get to my heart issue with a single question, like.
What.
About you, Rob? And, yeah, Jen can do the same as reveal my heart with a question. And it's like, ouch. But thank you.
