Neil T. Anderson and three others open a Christian conversation with group prayer, thanking God for technology connecting them across distances and for the Holy Spirit uniting them. They ask that the discussion glorify God and be guided by the Spirit, and offer specific gratitude for Rod and Karen and their ministries at City Temple and Freedom in Christ.

Ready for prayer?
Past ready.
Father, thank you so much for this day. Thank you for the technology that allows us to connect over the many miles and the different time zones, but even more so, thank you for your Spirit that connects us as brothers and sisters in Christ. Lord, we do pray that that and so much more would come through to the audience in our conversation, that Lord, not only our unity in Christ matters, but Lord, that there is so much hope because of who you are, what you've done, and your plan to use the church in these days. And we just thank you that we get to be part of your work.
We count it an honor and a joy.
We recognize it's a gift from you, And so, Lord, we surrender to you and we consecrate ourselves and all of this equipment and all the connections between us to you for your purposes during this time together. We do pray that you would be honored and glorified, um, that you would guide and direct our conversation, give us insight and wisdom even in the midst of things.
And Lord, would you just allow it to be directed in such a way that it flows in a way that people will understand and be motivated to consider these truths that we're talking about today.
And, Lord, we'll thank you for all of it. We thank you for Rod and for Karen. We thank you for their love for you, for each other, for your body, the church, and the insight and wisdom that you've given to Rod through, Lord, through a lot of trials.
But also through the successes because you are in him, he's in you, and you're in the midst of the work there at City Temple and Freedom in Christ.
And so, Father, we just rejoice with you and with one another that we get to have this conversation today.
