Should Christians Be Politically Involved? - Daily Discipler Shorts w/Dr. Jonathan Carl

Be careful with politics. Every country's got political parties. America, it's Republican or Democrat, but a lot of Christians get pretty riled up, maybe give too much time, too much energy, too much emotion to the political process, maybe even put too much of their identity in whether they're Republican or Democrat and even look at the other group almost as if they're evil and wicked. And so kind of just encourage you. Be careful. Human traditions, human upbringings, human opinions, political parties are not going to save us. I kind of jokingly say I'm a monarchist. I believe in a king. I'm waiting for the King of kings to return. When somebody asks me what political party am I part of, I'm a monarchist. And so let me just encourage you kind of step back, reevaluate how you handle politics and how you handle it Biblically. Thanks for following Freedom in Christ Ministries.
