After experiencing God's presence in 2010, the speaker thought it was a one-time gift. He's learned it's actually an invitation to a long-term, committed relationship, like a banquet table where you keep coming back to partake in freedom, not a single event.

Amen. Amen. That's beautiful. And I. I would agree that you even more so, longer so than I, because I came sometime after 2010 into awareness, you know what I mean? Like there was a crossover. The Lord intersected himself with my own living of my life and thankfully. Right. But we know from this position, wherever we are now, we can look back and recognize that what we understood the freedom, invitation to be and what we now have walked out, what it looks like today and what we thought it was then, that there's probably a divide between what we thought it was that we were coming into and what we now understand to be the rhythm of that relationship or what the outgrowth of that invitation by the Lord. But that doesn't mean that however we started wasn't real, that that it wasn't true, that it wasn't a taste of the freedom. We just didn't. I just think that there are ways we didn't expect that it was a long banquet table, right. That we would be seated at, wherein we would be continually needing to. To take and taste the freedom, to sup on the freedom like that. That that would be a long term situation. I kind of came in like, oh, here's the thing, right? Here's a thing to do. And I did not completely understand have the invitation to long term, deep committed relationship was in that call to freedom, right? Yes.
