Short YouTube monologue (entrepreneurial advice) outlining three practical steps to grow a service/B2B business: 1) generate clients primarily via LinkedIn using video and micro-content to build brand awareness and target potential clients; 2) favor technology and automation over hiring staff early—be frugal and scale with tools until cashflow justifies employees; 3) consider external funding or investment options to accelerate scaling without necessarily giving up equity.

So three guaranteed steps to grow your business. Number one is getting clients. So if you're in B2B business, a service based business, the first thing is getting clients. So I would have a campaign always using LinkedIn. LinkedIn is probably the most powerful tool, not just for recruitment agencies, but for most businesses now because everyone's on there and there's a lot of organic content that you can put in great reach on the newsfeed. So I'll be creating video content, social content, value ads, all on LinkedIn to generate your brand awareness. Building your own brand as equity and targeting potential clients through LinkedIn would be my number one strategy because without leads and sales and you'd have no business as sales is very, very important. Number two to grow your business would probably add leverage, more technology as opposed to staff until you definitely need it, till you force yourself where you, where you know you're bursting at the seams and you've got the cash to hire employees. We're at a luxury now where we can hire more employees because we're bankrolled and saved money from being more frugal at the start. So when you are growing, try and be a little bit frugal on that and invest in automation tools and leverage, but also using the authenticity with your personal brand, pushing out that with video content, micro content because that can go to different areas as well on blogs and your website. So it would be LinkedIn for sales and generating leads using built network automation tools and marketing tools to help scale as a business without needing too many heads. The third thing, which is quite an interesting one, which we toyed with initially, was gaining investment. So there's a lot of different funds out there, particularly in the, in the northeast and I'm sure in many parts of the uk. So probably looking at different ways of how you can scale quicker by gaining investment. So it doesn't necessarily give away equity in your business, which I haven't done. I like to have full control, but that might change one day. But looking at different ways to leverage money or cash so you can scale a little bit quicker. So having access to funding will probably be my third thing on three fastest ways to grow your business.
