It all takes these fine little margins of what makes a successful millionaire to your average person. Hello, ladies and gentlemen, James Blackwell here in today's video. I want to reveal where I am. I'm in sunny Maldives. So it's an amazing island. First time I've ever been here and it's been a great experience. And that reminded me like I took some time away just to reflect. And one of the books I read was a book called Slight Edge by a guy called Jeff Olson. And it was a really interesting book. It was, I would say, quite a straightforward book in terms of like the things that you need for success. And obviously the title itself, the Slight Edge, pretty much defines exactly what he was trying to get across in the book was the fact of it all takes these fine little margins of what makes a successful millionaire to your average person. And that's like daily habits. So I go on about this a lot inside my program accelerator and inside our mastermind is how important it is to have the structure in your day and your week and your months, but also consistently do the little things because they're what compounds over time. So you've probably heard the saying around compound interest that compound interest happens in personal development as well. So it's really important to read all of the time, whether it's listening audiobooks and taking notes, watching YouTube podcasts, all of that is great. But without action, so I putting that knowledge into action, it is useless. And one of the things people struggle to get by 95% of people aren't really what people call themselves not successful in life in terms of health, wealth, love, happiness. And those who pillars is because they don't actually take action. All of the knowledge is out there, whether it's on Google or YouTube and everything else, but the actual step by step pieces to integrate it are going to be the things that you need to do to take action. So you can't just a bit like you see people joining the gym in January, February, they quit and that's because they don't want have accountability. So they don't have a coach or mentor to spur them on. And they're not in what I call like a mastermind group or someone else that they're surrounded with because a group of minds are greater than one. So all of those little inputs every day and daily habits, so rituals, whether it's for me, it was always meditation, reading, journaling, affirmations every day and then making sure that I targeted myself like probably by 10, 11am the most hardest difficult task of the day. And I made sure that that got accomplished because you've got to work on the things that are going to move the needle the most in terms of high income generating tasks. So whether that's winning in your agency, new clients, new pitchers, so whether you're pitching exist retained winning retainers, getting candidates over there to do deals, bringing on an A player recruiter, a virtual sourcer, a marketing sourcer, building out the right type of systems and automation in your business to enable you to skill and to be able to delegate more as well. But yeah, I thought I would share this quick video in Maldives because like it's such an amazing place to be. It's one of those places that I've always dreamed of coming and through hard work and obviously like scaling your agency and your business you can get there like and the beauty about this is I'm here and I've got a great fabulous team back in the UK that the business is running without me. So it's self managing. So they're all self managing employees that are generating revenue for the business and they're sharing the rewards and it's such a great feeling to not be able to have to check emails, opened a laptop.
