Hello ladies and gentlemen. And in today's video I'm going to.
Reveal the top books that I would.
Recommend that are essential reading if you want to become a recruitment millionaire.
So in this actual training I'm going.
To give you a real snippet inside our recruiter accelerator program and what books I've read throughout my journey that I think will be very integral for you to scale to a million plus inside your own recruitment agency. So if you anything like me, I believe that one thing to get successful, the most successful people in the world always read. So that is a fact. Like most millionaires and billionaires all read. It might be in different forms in terms of reading, but if you study most of the greats, personal development is key. So it's very important that you're continually learning and growing all of the time. Even when I look at where I am now, I still really study too, three hours per day. So I'm always a student, never the master. And it's very, very important for you to start off that way in terms of and I would start off by reading. So I would recommend at least trying to read a book a week, if not a book a month. And yes, knowledge is power, but also you need to make sure that you turn that knowledge and actually take action with it and implement it. And that's probably the 1% difference between if you are actually reading books now, but you're not where you want to get to or be in life. It's a lot of it around actual procrastination because we're actually not taking action as well. So I hope you find this video useful. I would love to see in the comments what your favorite book is, what books that you have found to help you be successful in life and in business. And as always, I'll catch you inside the next one. Thank you.
Hello ladies and gentlemen, Just a quick video today for your essential reading. So what I put together is a list of books that I feel are essential for you to grow your agency to six figures and beyond. So these are all books I've read numerous occasions and I feel these are the best books that you should focus on and try and read through. Now a quick tip for some of you that aren't used to reading too many books, what I would suggest you do is get a audible account from Amazon and actually listen to them as audiobooks. And you can actually set the settings to have it at like 1.5 speed. So if you're going out for walks, moving around, driving around in the car, you can Listen to those a little bit quicker and get the information going in. I also recommend always getting a hard copy of the book as well so you can bookmark pages, highlight, write on them, take notes, take things that are going to sink into you. So the first book that you're going to get a search and placement. Now Search and Placement is pretty much my bible that I used in order to be a top biller when I was doing actual day to day recruitment. That's by a guy called Steve Finkel and Larry Nobles. So you can actually get it from Amazon or you can go on the website for Steve Finkel. Now he has got some other books that I would recommend as well. But Search and Placement is the number one book that you need to get first. So that's this one here. Don't get the other books yet, just get this one and make sure you can order it either as a hard copy or you can get an ebook copy as well if you want to get it quicker. For those of you not in the US it'll take a little bit longer to come. That's the number one book that you do for recruitment. Sam Walton is, was one of the richest guys in the world. Jeff Bezos from Amazon, the founder of Amazon based all of his business off this book. So he makes every Amazon employee read the Sam Walton Made in America book. So he's the guy, the founder of Walmart. And this book is really interesting how he started with one store. So it's a really good documentary, not documentary biography. Sorry about Sam Walton. So I recommend that Felix Dennis how to get Rich. I would say this is probably my favorite book. Felix Dennis is worth something around about £700 million self made. He was a founder of a lot of magazines and publications and he really gets into the gritty of what it takes to really be successful and get rich. He talks around the lonely road as an entrepreneur and the journey and the sacrifices and choices that you make if you want to really be very rich. Psycho Cybernetics is the number one book I would recommend for the psychology aspect and actually training your subconscious mind. I talk a lot about this book in the program. It's by my bad side. I've got three copies of this book. You need to read it three, four, five times. I definitely recommend getting the audio version of this as well so it can sink in and you, you learn each step within that book. And also another one around the subconscious mind is the power of your subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy. This is probably a little bit of a simpler book compared to psycho cybernetics and it's cheap as well. So I definitely recommend getting that again on audio as well as hard copy. Spin Selling is a book around how to sell more effectively and this is used to help influence and persuade, overcome objections both of clients and candidates and will help you understand from a sales aspect how to listen, how to spins, spin maybes and yeses and how to change people's minds and perceptions. Very important book that you need on the psychology of selling. The Everything in Store is the probably the best biography about Jeff Bezos and how he started and grew his business and how he was very frugal even from the desks that were made by old doors. And he still, I think still does that today. So it's a really good book around going your business, delivering happiness by the founder of Zappos who actually inevitably got bought out by Amazon and actually sold his business to Amazon. But this was all around obviously making profits within his delivery shoe business, but also creating a culture, creating a brand and a reputation when they were very, very small. So it's a very good book for founders of recruitment agency businesses to actually understand how to grow business with a good culture, good reputation and to be a small, playable actually increase the size of the business without actually growing lots of employees grinding it out. The Making of McDonald's by Ray Kroc. I'd also recommend the documentary as well, I think that is on Netflix and I recommend getting the book as well of how we franchise the business, create the systems. The recruitment book. There's probably there's not many recruitment owner autobiographies out there. The one I read when I was younger was the Real Deal by James Khan. For those of you that know me, I was offered quite a significant investment when I first started my recruitment business by James. I've met him three times and he was on Dragon's Den as well. Multi millionaire and he made that from the recruitment industry and his recruitment agency. So he talks. It's a really interesting book for everyone that's in recruitment. I definitely recommend it. I don't agree with maybe with all of his values and sometimes what he does within business, but he's very successful so you always want to study the greats. So I would recommend this book by James Caan and finally think and grow rich. It's pretty much again a necessity to read this numerous times and I recommend audiobook for this. And just when you walk in when, when you're going on journeys, listen to this repeatedly. It's probably one of the most important books that you'll read that influenced me to get to millionaire status was Think and Grow Rich. So this is your essential reading list. Make sure you go for it. Now obviously you want to be making sure you go through the program first because that's what's going to get you results. But you need to be constantly learning, constantly evolving and constantly, constantly changing who you are now to who you want to become. And the way you can do that is by learning from others that have been there, done that and following in the footsteps. So all of these books are what I would highly recommend that. I've read all of these more than 2, 3, 4 times. So this is your central reading list. Don't get distracted on Amazon buying tons of different books. Focus on these ones first. Mark them highlighters, little post it notes, audio book, taking notes on a Google Doc. All very important to make sure you can learn from each one of these books and implement that into your business. Sam.
