A short YouTube recommendation by James (uploaded by George Foley) for the book The Ultimate Sales Machine by Chet Holmes. James endorses the book strongly (says he’s read it 4–5 times and ranks it in his top 10), notes that Chet Holmes has passed away, and highlights core takeaways: the Dream 100 strategy for targeting ideal clients, hiring superstars/A-players (noting a chapter on this, chapter five), effective meetings, and the opening chapter "Time Management Secrets of Billionaires." He finishes by inviting viewers to share their book picks.
Chapters
Hi everyone. This week's book recommendation is the Ultimate Sales Machine by Chet Holmes. So this is one of my favorite books. I would say this is up there in my top 10 books of choice and I've read it, must have read it four to five times now. Chet Holmes is no longer with us. I think he passed away a few years ago. But a lot of the stuff that he teaches and hear how to build a sales team and machine is still stands the test of time today. I think he was on this circuit with J. Abraham and also Tony Robbins. So he was a trainer for Tony Robbins for a number of years as well. So the key takeaways I took away from this book was building a dream 100 strategy. So building a list of companies you want to target to get into and throughout that time having different strategies on how to engage with them, whether it's sending the gifts, handwritten letters, different ways to approach him with calls and events, etc. And I thought that was a really good way around generating new business. He also talks about hiring superstars, so I've talked about it many times around hiring a players. So he has a chapter on that in chapter five which was really, really good. And another chapter that I really liked was Effective meetings. So how to have effective meetings and the time management so Time Management Secrets of Billionaires, which was first chapter which I still always use a lot of his tips today. So yeah, this week's book of choice is the Ultimate Sales Machine by Chet Holmes. Keen to see what and hear what you're reading this week. So drop your comments below, share your top books to read and I'll catch you next week. Cheers. Sa.
