A recruiter sent 20,000 mass emails through SmartLead for a network engineer role and got ten CVs daily. No screening, just forwarding everything to the client. A few people complained, but the volume worked for filling seats fast.

I just set up 20,000 emails in SmartLead, which I was using at the time, and just sent them an email. Hey, I have a network engineer job. If you're interested, send your CV. And I had 10 CVs coming in a day passively. I wouldn't even speak to them. I would just send them straight to the client. It was just like a CV farm. And naturally you do get some people that are like, don't ask for my CV on email, but they got drowned out by the other 100 people that week that did send it. So in volume type jobs, sometimes that's good.
