I think from an agency perspective, it's better to start with market because like the services are, they're abundant, right? Websites, SEO, pay-per-click, paid advertising, marketing automation. But if you want to build a business, you have to know who you're selling to. You have to understand the problems they're looking to solve and you have to come in and actually deliver tangible, measurable results. And so I would say start with the market first and then figure out what the product mix is based on what you've learned about the problems they're looking to solve and what they've tried in the past. I'm definitely more of a sales guy. I wouldn't say it came easy because I struggled at sales for quite some time, but I feel like I picked up the importance of learning how to sell and really hone that skill early.
