Effective SEO Link Building Using The Skyscraper Technique ( Stage 3 & 4 ) | Digital Marketing

We use something called the Skyscraper Technique. It basically works in 4 steps. Stage 3 would be optimizing the content. So before we start reaching out to anyone and building backlinks, we just want to make sure that our client's content is the best it can possibly be because the better quality content you have on your site, the more likely someone is to link to you. Like if you have a really spammy looking site, high quality websites won't want to link to your content simply because, you know, it doesn't reflect well on them. And if they're linking out to you as a resource, it needs to be high quality. So that'd be stage 3. And then the final step is we go out, we reach out to these websites, usually via cold email, and say, hey, I'm actually linked to joeblogs.com, for example. Maybe you want to link to us too.
