Recruiting the right people is what lets a business scale. Speaker B built HITE by hiring the most influential people with large networks, because they bring connections and credibility. Hiring well-connected people matters more than anything else.
To serve that number of clients and to have that level of team, like, how do you, how do you find the talent? How do you train the talent? Like, where does the talent sit? You know, you said they work at an office. Just kind of walk me through that part of the equation a little bit.
Okay, so this is talent and hiring and culture is one of my favorite things to talk about. And if we talk about scalability, for me, like, the one key thing is your ability to recruit and keep, and keep talent, right? Like, that's everything. And so one of the things we did from the beginning of HITE is that we went out and we tried to hire the best freaking people we could. And not only the best people, but the most influential people who had the most friends, who was the nice guy, who like when they wrote something on Facebook had like tons of people commenting, right? Because birds of a feather flock together, right? And so we knew that if this guy came in with experience, but man, he came from that agency and there's 100 more people there, the biggest thing is going to hold us back is the ability to hire people.
