Firing a client actually might be your best move. As we grow and scale and we get clients, we want to retain the revenue that we get. But sometimes we get the wrong client that has wrong expectations, that doesn't respect our team, that doesn't respect our time. In those cases, you have the choice. Do you bend over backwards and try and facilitate that client? Or do you say, you know what, this is our process, this is how we operate, we're the experts, and you know what, if this isn't a good fit, let's release you to go work with somebody else and let's free up the mind space for ourselves, for our team, so that we can be productive for the other clients that we have and so that we can go and replace that client with somebody better. If you're dealing with a tough client, sometimes the best thing you can do is just release that client and move on with your life.
