Hello everyone, my name is Esteban Baez with 7 Figure Agency, and today I'm here with Danny Barrera. Hi Danny.
Esteban, what's going on? Nice to see you.
So great to be here with you in your presence. Uh, so I wanted to ask you a couple questions for our members and our potential members that might be considering either joining 7 Figure Agency, sure, or they've been at 7 Figure Agency and they're looking for more feedback. Okay, let's start with your story. How did you get introduced Josh Nelson and the 7 Figure Agency?
Facebook ad. It was probably a Facebook ad really just coming through. And back in the day, I remember I was in a very dark place financially in my life. I was at a point of reinvention. We're in Brickell, technically speaking.
Okay.
I had just done an interview for a job as for an SEO position not too far from here. Okay. And, uh, I went to the job interview. Um, I was all excited because I'm like, I got this. I, you know, I need the money. It's an $80,000 a year salary job and I'm gonna, I'm gonna make it happen.
Yeah.
Anyways, the guy found out I was, or I had been running an agency. He's like, man, you know, I would hire you, but I know your heart and your mind is going to be out there. Really? And, uh, so I just can't, I can't hire you for that reason. I need someone full-time.
So, wow.
That I felt God speaking to me in that moment. And then like weeks later, I see Joshua Nelson ad, right? And I'm running a general, generalist agency at this point in time. And man, I'm just scraping by and I'm like, man, this guy's legit. And I create, you know, Contractor SEO Agency at the point in time, you know, and I keep following him. And that's, that's basically how I came across. Wow.
So at that point in your life, you were transitioning, you were trying to figure things out.
Yeah.
And you didn't have a lot of, uh, clients at that time?
No, probably what, 1, 2, or a couple? A handful?
Couple?
Yeah, 4, 4, 5. I don't recall the exact number right now, but yes, a handful. Yeah. Wow.
And now looking back, how many years ago was that?
So that, that should have been about 2017.
2017.
2017. Look at that.
Okay, so now coming into the future, yeah, how is your agency? Uh, uh, you know, it's grown, or God has blessed us.
Yes, Concrete Marketing Crew, formerly Concrete Marketing Crew, now Contractor Click. Okay, we've served over 500 clients nationwide.
Really?
You know, and, um, it's, it's something that I'll never forget, the impact that Joshua Nelson had in my life personally, because what I was looking for, it was to build a business and to have a true mentor in my life that would tell me, hey, just go and do this and then you're going to have results. Wow. And in the midst of all the chaos that I got myself into, going through divorce, separation, all of that, I ended up losing it all. But I was actually addicted to the affiliate marketing and get-rich-quick schemes. Yeah, that's how I ended up broke, really. Okay. The lack of proper guidance. So I came here and he was running a real business. I went through a live experience, which it was in a small— in his office.
Okay.
And that right there just opened up my— it changed my paradigm shift into what a business truly was in the agency space. I'd never seen an agency operating at those levels. Okay. It was always like a freelancer type of gig, right? You got a couple of clients and so it showed me what I hadn't seen in the business world. And that was a pivotal moment for me to experience that.
So it sounds like you were able to witness stability.
Yes. Right?
How a true business is.
In 5,000 agency, I don't know how many employees he had, but the entire office, Yeah, like an actual business with some structure. Yeah, right.
Yeah, that's excellent. Now, are you an Inc. 5000 business as well?
I didn't apply for it. I could be.
Yeah, you could be. Yeah.
Yes.
Isn't that amazing, though, that you could be if you wanted to?
Multiple times.
Yeah, that's excellent. Yeah, that's excellent. Yeah. So what would you say to a member as far as mindset, right, or a potential member, somebody that might be watching this, if they're kind of stuck? Right? They're stuck, they're somewhere where they don't know exactly what to do. What would, what would be your recommendation for mindset?
Yeah, so it's two things. Either you truly don't know what you need to do, or you do know what you need to do but you aren't doing it. And it's as simple as that. So, right, getting yourself in a place where you're surrounded by people that have achieved, where you want to go, and asking the real questions about what does it really take to run a business at $5 million plus? What does it take to run a business at $3 million versus what does it take to run a business where you're working 3 hours in the week and, you know, you're kind of like, this is your side gig type of deal? The mindset is very different. So you need to be absolutely clear into where you want to go and have a clear enough why, because this is building a business. And I could tell you, after launching multiple businesses now, years later, the agency space has some of the, the most upside potential in anything else you do. E-commerce, you get into e-commerce every month, you start from ground zero. Okay. You know what I'm saying?
Right.
Because like, it's not marketing. You start from zero. Is there recurring revenue unless you have memberships?
Right.
But what would it take? So the ticket item for recurring on an agency space, our average ticket is $3,200 right now.
Okay.
How many customers would it take me on e-commerce to get $3,200 out of the gate?
Right.
First of the month. Right. You go and try to start out a plumbing, HVAC company. You know, now you're talking about labor, you're talking about driving vehicle. So this vehicle right here, the agency, there's nothing like it. It can provide the lifestyle, the freedom that you want. There's work involved like anything else, but as far as the financial stability and the potential to build wealth, right, this has been the vehicle that enabled me to now serve other people in different ways. Gotcha. Um, and that's it. So get clear, specific path that you want to take and why.
Thank you for sharing that. That's a very powerful answer. One last question and then we'll close this out. For someone that is thinking about picking a coach and they're not quite sure if Joshua Nelson and the 7 Figure Agency will be a good coaching program, what is your feedback to them in regards to choosing Joshua Nelson specifically and the 7 Figure Agency as their coaching?
I mean, the name says it, and it's actually right now it's— it should be called Titan agency, right? Multiple 7-figure, because the proof is in the pudding. And this is not a social media marketing agency course that you take with a whole bunch of young guys that just want to, you know, create some quick cash and be in a completely different industry. No, if you're looking to create wealth, like we just heard from the CMO, ex-CMO Scorpion grew the, the agency to $100 million a year, from $20 to $40 to $100 million.
Wow.
That's a legitimate wealth vehicle. Now you take that, you take your profits, you can walk out, you can sell, whatever you want to do. Um, I don't know if there's someone else doing it at this level for the agency. And then you take that and then you, you look at all the specialized specialty coaches. Like, I was just talking to someone else here about their GoHighLevel Wednesday calls. Yeah. And he's like, man, just jump in here. Um, you know, I'm like, hey, do you know how to take care of this? And, you know, this automation and AI integration and all that. He's like, just come on over to the Wednesday call. You know, you need, uh, financial help, you know, financial analysis so that you can forecast your projections of revenue. You've got someone there that Yeah, so Joshua Nelson has, has created this entire group where the model itself is a proven model. The people are legit. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme overnight thing, but I can promise you, you do the work, it's, it's right here. Everything you want to grow and scale an agency, digital marketing, it's right here. Excellent.
Danny, thank you so much. Danny, I heard one I know I told you that was the last question, but I almost forgot to ask you.
Yeah.
You have a passion project that you're working in.
Well, it's my calling.
It's your calling. Let's talk about your calling real briefly for our members that don't know about this calling that you have. It might be useful for them.
Absolutely. So this is— I went through divorce myself. I ended up losing it all, sleeping in my car for a while, driving long distance for a minute before I could figure myself out, snorting cocaine. Like, literally, when I'm telling you, it's like there were so many things I was battling through— depression, suicidal thoughts. And when I look back, it's by God's grace that I am here today. Amen. It's quite literally by God's grace. And, you know, I felt the calling a couple of years ago and like, hey, as I'm sharing my story with other men who have gone through divorce, separation, and they've turned their life into chaos, or they're going through the lack of balance because they're running a business and they're burning out and they're burning their home as well. Wow. How do you find the balance and the profit at the same time? So I'm here to bring empowerment, uh, to fatherpreneurs who are there, who they want to make a difference, but also their life, their personal life is in chaos and it's just burning to the ground. And what would it look like for that individual if he, if he found peace, purpose, and power in the darkest moment of his life? Wow. Right? So that's, that's the whole thing. And It's an incredible program. Um, my end goal is to bring this over to prisons and, uh, have it be a, a program that is rolled out through the prison system so that fathers can reconnect with their children, you know, and have all these experiences. But for now, the focus is, is just helping men, men who are, yeah, in chaos.
That's beautiful. How can people learn more about that if they want to check it out?
Go to irreplaceablefather.com.
Okay, excellent. Danny, thank you so much for spending the time.
I appreciate it.
This was awesome.
All right.
