Inside the Intensive: James Hurst Shares Their Journey with Seven Figure Agency

James Hurst describes joining the 7 Figure Agency program and its coaching model: a designated coach, weekly Breakthrough Sessions, and access to swipe-and-deploy HighLevel templates. He emphasizes the value of community engagement and the program's focus on blue-collar industries like HVAC and funeral homes over info-product niches.

Hello everyone and welcome. My name is Esteban Baez and I'm here with 7 Figure Agency, and today I have with me James Hurst. James, tell us a little bit about you and your experience with 7 Figure Agency.
First of all, thanks so much for having me. We're here in beautiful Miami, Florida at the 7 Figure Agency Intensive. Yes, um, the question was a little bit about myself and my experience with your guys's program, right?
Yes.
So I was getting into the ClickFunnels space, HighLevel space, was seeing who I should follow. And oh my gosh, if you ask like who are some of the best coaches, if you're in the HighLevel Facebook group with like 75,000 people and you say, hey guys, I'm looking to get started, like who should I follow in this space? You will literally see Josh Nelson tag, Josh Nelson, Josh Nelson, Josh Nelson, Josh Nelson. It's like, okay, Josh Nelson, I get it, I get it. Like You know, something like, who is this Joshua Nelson guy? You click on his profile, 7-figure agency, you know what, and you start seeing the stuff he's posting. He's got his YouTube channel. He's got all these people that are like saying he's the best. It's like, all right, well, I'm a little bit like, a little bit skeptical, right? It's easy to throw on, you know, 6-figure this, 7-figure that. But like, what I have found out is that this is legit.
Okay.
7-figure agency coaching program.
Right, right. So I imagine that when you went through it, as you're doing your research, you had a lot of skepticism.
Yeah, like, well, I think, you know, maybe jump on a call with the sales guy, you know, like he's going to sell me into this program, right? You know, is it going to work? You have the doubts, right?
Right.
And well, the thing is, is like, how do I put this? What I liked, I was telling Josh, I was like, I had a little interview with him. I was like, dude, what you cannot fake It's easy to throw up a website, right? It's easy to call yourself whatever, right? It's hard to fake 300 top agencies in the United States flying in from all across the world, the country.
Exactly.
Meeting in, you know, huge downtown, you know, very expensive, you know, Marriott Hotel. Like, I know you don't just do that. Like, for me, because I love startups and like, so I'll go buy a domain. Next thing you know, I'm in business, you know? Right, right, because I'm virtual, right? So you guys have a lot of virtual assets and a lot of remote people, but you also have that physical presence. Okay, I mean, like this, like I don't have all this nice stuff.
Well, you should, and I encourage you to get it, right?
But, and then let me tell you one more thing. I get into you guys's program.
Yeah.
And I'm like scrolling and scrolling, and so I— if, if you had one fault It's like the encyclopedia. It's like everything you could ever need. And there's— it's also like, where do I get started?
Would you guys take care of that?
What's my— you have a program. What's my next right thing?
Right.
What's my next move? Because I know there's a lot, and I'm sure it's all great. But I was so impressed with your— like the encyclopedia of your program. I mean, like whether it's trade shows, whether it's webinars, whether it's you're publishing your own book, right? Whether it's, uh, your funnel, your appointment funnel.
Yeah, tons of swipe and deploy.
Swipe and deploy, which means you don't have to start from scratch, right? With HighLevel, right? Because we're all— a lot of us are HighLevel fans. And so you guys get those snapshots and you deploy them right into HighLevel, right? And you change a few things. Yeah, and it's not that fast. You still got to understand how it works, you know, and still test it. Right, but it's faster than any, you know, than doing it on your own, right?
You, you got to go in there and, and edit it.
Yeah, and edit it.
You can't just launch it the way it is.
Exactly. Because some people still have this like, hey, why are you still sending me to Joshua's landing page, right? Or exactly, uh, hello, is this 7 Figure Agents? Or, you know, just like people are still calling Josh's number because he literally giving you like his old like, uh SEO and HVAC.
Well, he's giving you his own assets.
Exactly.
So you got to change—
you got to get Joshua Nelson's HVAC company assets out of your account.
Right, right, right. I imagine you get a lot of that. Now, what would you say to our members, right? So this is also going to go— okay, our members, uh, what would you say to our members as they're getting— especially the new members getting started? Yes.
Uh, What I say to them?
Yes, there's something you have for them.
So, okay, the power is in the content. It's also in the community. So make sure you get plugged into the Facebook group, turn on the notifications, right? Also, like, contribute where you can, right? You obviously bring something to the table. You have a lot of experience. You've been doing this for 10 years. You're a generalist agency. Like, bring your experience. Don't be shy to contribute right out of the gate, right? Right. And then also take advantage of all of the calls, right? And your coach. You're right, you should have a one-on-one, a designated coach hold you accountable. And they have— everybody gets their own designated coach. You get a designated coach, stay plugged in with them. There's also the monthly reporting, right? Right. Stay plugged into those, those, those reports. Um, and then the weekly calls. My role in the agents in this program is a high-level coach. Okay, so every Wednesday at 1 PM Eastern, since, since I can remember, we're doing those calls. And like, except for today, right? It's, it's Wednesday. So just because today we're canceled because we're all here, everybody's here, even virtually.
Yes.
So this is like the one time, you know, 3 times a year we're going to meet in Miami.
Okay.
And mastermind together in person.
Let's talk about the Wednesday.
Yeah, the Wednesday call, the Breakthrough Sessions.
The Breakthrough Sessions. What do you do specifically on the breakthrough sessions.
Yeah.
And when should someone go on your call? Perfect.
So you come into this group room, and, and then we say, hey, this is a coach for sales, this is the coach for this. And James, James is here. James has got the coach for HighLevel, right? And so if you have any HighLevel questions, pop in the breakout rooms, right? So we try to— we want to keep you moving along. In theory, you can come in, ask a question about HighLevel for 5-10 minutes, pop over, talk to Josh Cronenberg, talk to Aiden, talk to, you know, anybody else of the other coaches. You can come in and get what you need and get back to work.
I love it. Yeah, I love it. James, thank you so much. Is there any final thoughts?
Oh, I thought we were just getting started. Come on now, this is a quick, quick, short thing. So I thought this was going to be a documentary.
I love it, I love it. Is there any, anything you would like to say to any, anyone that is thinking, yeah, about becoming a new member?
A new member?
But they haven't pulled the trigger yet.
Sure. So you guys, I was like, in college, I was like a blue-collar worker. I'm like literally like Cascade Window Cleaning, you know, cascadewindowcleaning.com. You can go check it out. And so like, I was really—
You still have it?
I still have it, dude, yeah. And so like, I come, you know, I really actually like personally the blue-collar vibe of the industries that we serve. Like, I'm in the internet marketing world, affiliate this, Lamborghinis that, you know? You know, people that are like— nothing against big muscles or anything, but there's a certain vibe that is not quite here. This is more— I feel like we just serve the backbone of the United States, the American, the international economy, right? We are HVAC and SEO. We are karate classes. We are funeral homes. We're mobile homes. Like the guy that won the award last night, he's doing mobile home parks. I'm like, you know, where's my double wide, right? But we're talking about the backbone of the American economy, which means, you know, it's not info products, it's not affiliate. Those are all great, but this is like the day-to-day business, leads coming in, nurturing. Like, this is just, you know, agencies going in and doing the work day in and day out. It's not flashy, but it is legit and it is real.
Love it. So it sounds like if they're thinking about it, they just need to go ahead and do it, and, and they're going to be part of a community that's real.
Yes.
Just like them. They'll be able to relate.
Relate. Yes.
Okay.
What— there's no— it's month to month, right? Is there any long-term contract? Yeah, month to month. So what do you have to lose? Um, you know, you probably— as long as you're doing a certain amount of volume, right? Right.
Yeah.
Uh, I've actually referred friends. I'm seeing friends here that I referred, and they're glad that I did.
Right.
What else can I say?
I get that all the time.
Yeah.
Thank you, Esteban, for bringing me in.
That's, that's all you can ask for.
Yeah, perfect. So James, thank you so much for being here. Thank you for sharing with our audience today. And yeah, we look forward to, you know, continue and welcoming new people. Yeah, welcoming new people and having you here and, and delivering value to everybody that comes in.
Thank you, man.
All right, brother, thanks.
