In this live interview, Joshua Nelson welcomes Nate Haggerty, founder of Tax Pro Marketing, an agency that serves CPAs and accounting firms and has been named Agency of the Year within the Seven Figure Agency community. Nate shares that his agency’s recurring revenue grew from about $107,000 per month 18 months ago to roughly $170,000‑$180,000 per month today. He attributes much of that growth to the Seven Figure Agency mastermind, describing the constant flow of fresh swipe‑and‑deploy materials, a high‑quality Facebook community, and accountability from peers. Nate explains why he stays in this mastermind over other elite groups (Digital Marketer War Room, Perry Marshall’s Roundtable, Dan Kennedy’s HighLevel groups), emphasizing Joshua’s authenticity, family‑oriented culture, and the group’s focus on serving clients rather than chasing quick money. He offers advice to agency owners hesitant about the $1,500‑per‑month membership fee, suggesting they view it as an investment that provides shortcuts, mentorship, and a network of craftsmen. To manage the abundance of ideas, Nate describes a personal scoring system that rates each idea on impact (1‑10) and ease of implementation, allowing him to prioritize the top three high‑impact, low‑effort actions each month. He also outlines his work‑life balance: a 30‑hour work week with a week off every eight weeks, totaling about six‑seven weeks off per year. Throughout, the tone remains conversational, enthusiastic, and promotional, aiming to demonstrate the tangible benefits of the Seven Figure Agency program for established agencies.

I want to introduce you guys, Nate Haggerty from Tax Pro Marketing. Works with CPAs and accounting firms. He's our Agency of the Year here at 7 Figure Agency.
I'm here, my man.
I'm very sorry to keep you waiting. I didn't realize you were, you were on standby.
No, I, I just ran a webinar, you know, like 2 hours ago, and here I am, brother. Anything you put out, I want to be a part of, man.
Pumped to have you. So just tell us a little bit, like, where are you at in your agency? How many clients? How much recurring revenue?
Currently we're about, uh, you know, $170,000 to $180,000 a month. Um, when we joined with you, we're at, we were at like $107,000. Um, and that was 18 months ago, I think. Um, so I, you know, look, I, I got lots to say about Josh, but if any of you have any questions about what Josh is really like, since I'm here live and this isn't a recorded video, Like, now's your chance because I— like, he's not going to kick me out, so I'm going to tell you what it's really like. Okay, um, no, but for real, you could type something in the chat and I'd be glad to ask anything. Um, here's why I joined. I was a part of War Room, Digital Marketer War Room, with Josh, um, some time ago. I've been a part of Perry Marshall's Roundtable, um, Dan Kennedy's HighLevel groups. I've been a part of James Malinshak's other high-level groups, um, and this is the one that I'm going to land and stay for a long time. Um, not because Josh is so awesome— he is. Um, not just because he, uh, no, he really is. Um, and what you see is what you get with Josh, by the way. Like, there's a lot of guys that get in front of the camera and like, that's like they have a shtick. That's not Josh. I think you guys can tell that. Like, he cares about his family. His wife works with him. He's very family-oriented kind of person. He cares about the things that really matter. And like the access to like new swipe and deploy materials on a regular basis just keeps flowing. Like it is kind of remarkable how much material just keeps flowing. It's not just the same stale, same old, same old, you know, he just keeps bringing new stuff. So like, I'm just going to tell you right now, I've seen story after story of people who started from very small, who got to like 6 figures a month working with Josh. Like they're all in the mastermind group with me. A lot of them, um, we started at a kind of more established level and he's just helped us take things to a whole different level. So we're a multi-7-figure agency now. And so if you're at that level, that's a great— this is a great group to be a part of. There's— I'm not the, like the largest, um, agency in the mix, by any stretch. But, you know, we came in at a more advanced, more experienced level. But I like, I got a ton out of Joshua Nelson's material and everybody else in the group. It's a group full of craftsmen and people who care about serving their clients and not just like trying to hit their list like a money piñata, you know, like that's— I hate that crap. And there's too much of that in the marketing world. And Uh, that's not how Josh and the people in the group— there's a few people who, who like join the group that are like that, and then they kind of fade away, um, because they're, they're wankers and we kick them out. Um, but, um, I don't know, any questions, I'd be glad to take them, but I know you guys are all tired.
That's awesome, man. Thank you so much for being here. Thanks for sharing. Congratulations on your continued growth. What would you say that, that agency that's on here that's been through a day They just got all of these ideas and they're thinking, man, do I really want to invest in a $1,500 a month thing right now? Can I afford to do that? What would you say to that agency owner?
Yeah, I mean, I grabbed my friend Mark, you know him, and like he was doing about $10,000 to $15,000 a month in his agency. And I said, the best investment you could possibly make is join up with Joshua Nelson, and that's proven out. And so, I mean, no matter where you're at, even if you're just starting out, the amount of shortcuts that you're going to have access to and the community— like, it's the best Facebook group I've ever been a part of. There's so much activity, so many quality people who have your back, the relationships that are formed. So yeah, I don't want to turn this into a total sales pitch for you, but I'm happy to make any kind of sales pitch for you always and forever. But also today, I would just like pick 3 big things that you're taking away from Josh's, Josh's material and like order them. What I do is I create like a little stupid spreadsheet of like level of impact in my business, like 1 to 10 subjective measurement and level of ease of implementation. 1, you know, 10 being easy, you know, 1 being super hard. And I just kind of score out like the ideas that I've gotten from these various events because I go to like 3 of Joshua Nelson's events a year, score out those ideas and I pick my best, my top 3 and like, I'm not gonna be able to implement everything. That's just, you have to like accept that reality. There's too much stuff to implement. You today, there's too much to implement except that. So just take it slow, do the best most high impact, easiest, like, like little rocks to get out of the way and then start building momentum. And the projects will get more and more impactful.
So good. Amazing. Sheer— Nate, thank you so much. Congratulations on your growth. Niche Tax Pro service has grown to over $1,000 a month now.
Yeah, no, we're— yeah, we're at, uh, me and my— our monthly recurring revenue, it's like $170, $175 right now. K per month. Yeah. And Justin, I am not a tax guy, for the record. I work with tax professionals. I've never prepared a tax return in my life, but I have been in the industry for quite some time. So I know enough that like CPAs ask me tax questions and that's very dangerous. But anyway, excellent.
More money, more impact. More freedom. 7 kids. How much time on average in the business?
Oh, well, I take a week off every 8 weeks, as does everybody on my team. And so I get like 6, 7 weeks off a year there, and I'm working probably 30 hours a week.
Amazing. Great, great example of what's possible. Like, if you really apply yourself, you need to kind of roll up your sleeves and get to work. It's an honor to have you as part of this community. Thank you so much for taking the time to hop on.
