Last Chance to Be in the Room

The video is a live virtual preparation call hosted by Esteban Baez (with Justin Littles and Henry Adams) for the upcoming 7 Figure Agency Roadmap Live intensive (March 3‑7). Participants introduce themselves, rename themselves in Zoom, and learn the event logistics, qualification requirements (minimum $10,000 MRR and post‑launch stage), and how to obtain a complimentary in‑person ticket. The session includes ground‑rules for camera use and Q&A, several member success‑story interviews (Dustin Miller of PPC Pros, Luke Eggebraten of Fazer Marketing, and Chris Rodriguez of a martial‑arts niche agency), and a Q&A segment covering topics such as niche selection, coaching access, membership tiers (Accelerate, Elite, Titan), and how to scale beyond plateaus. Esteban announces new options: virtual attendance for qualified members, a free audiobook of “The 7‑Figure Agency Roadmap,” and a limited‑time enrollment offer. The call ends with breakout‑room routing based on agency revenue levels.

So happy that you guys are here. Who else do we have? AJ. AJ says, "So mad I can't make it this year." From Dallas, Texas. All right. Well, I have some surprises at the end, guys. So if you guys stay tuned and you watch the entire session today and you interact with me, I have some free gifts and I have some cool, really cool things, announcements that I'll be saying about Roadmap Live, especially this one because we're doing something new. All right, Manuel is locked in for Monday. Let's go! Cool. So I'm just gonna wait 2 or 3 minutes. In the meantime, while we're waiting, let's go ahead and rename ourselves, guys. So you simply go to your name somewhere in Zoom, wherever you can see that, and you click that button that says more or edit or the 3 dots, whatever you see. And then go ahead and rename yourself with your first name, last name, and the name of your agency. Okay, so first name, last name, and the name of your agency. If you are in our database and something comes up during today's conversation, we will be able to, uh, stay connected because then we'll know how to find you, right? So our team is here today to make and facilitate that as well. So I'm renaming myself as well. You guys might be wondering, well, who is Esteban and why is he here? So I've been with 7 Figure Agency for the past 3 years. I've helped Josh and Yesenia host a total of— this is gonna be number 8 for me, 8 in-person gatherings. And I help with business development, I help with sales. So that's why I'm here. and I am also very knowledgeable about 7 Figure Agency. So part of the leadership team here at 7 Figure Agency. So any questions you might have about what we do and how we do things, you're talking to the right person. You're in the right place at the right time to ask any questions you might be having about us. So we're going to go ahead and get started officially today. I have with me, uh, two other team members. I have Justin Littles, and I have Henry Adams who will be assisting me today. Let's go ahead and get started officially. Hello everyone and welcome to 7 Figure Agency Roadmap Live Q&A virtual prep call. Okay, so this is what we're gonna be doing today. We're gonna be preparing for the intensive that's coming up starting on Monday the 3rd. And we, we will be starting at 9 AM, uh, and then Josh will be on location. So if you can make it and go to Miami on location, please make sure that you ask us how you can do that, how you can get a ticket. It's a complimentary ticket if you're not a member just yet, and we will show you how to get a ticket. There are some requirements to be in location and in person. Because it's not for everybody. You have to be a qualified agency and you have to be doing at least $10,000 in monthly recurring revenue and be past that launch phase of your digital marketing agency. And if you're not there just yet, still stick around. We have some gifts and some information about how you can get to your first $10K if you haven't gotten there yet and make that a consistent $10,000 in monthly recurring revenue. We're going to share some stories stories today about how some of our best members have been able to do that and not only get to $10K, but some of them have been able to go from $40K to $80K. Others have been able to go from negative MRR all the way to, uh, $200,000 in monthly recurring revenues. So we have stories, right? There's— these are real life stories, and these were real live interviews that I did on location And I'm going to be showcasing some of those interviews today. All right, so let's go ahead and dive into the first part of today. I just want to give you some ground rules on how we're going to do Q&A so everybody knows how to do it. So first and foremost, if you can turn on your cameras, that's going to really help us engage with you because we can see your face. So if you can go ahead and turn on your cameras 'cause that helps us to engage. So I really appreciate all of you guys that have your cameras on. So thank you, Jeff, Manny, thank you, Daniel, keep your cameras on. Boy, John, thank you so much for keeping your cameras on. And Tony, thank you so much. And everybody else that's here that has their cameras off, if you can, please go ahead and turn them on. If you're driving or if you're naked, don't do it, please. You don't wanna see any of that, okay? So that's number 1. Rule number 2, guys, as we engage, I wanna give you all a chance to ask questions. I'm going to go ahead and open it up for Q&A. When you ask a question, it's one question at a time. So try to keep it to one question when it's your turn to ask a question, and be specific, and then we'll go ahead and answer the question to the best of our ability. All right, let's go ahead and get started. The first thing that I want to start with sharing today is to showcase our very first story. These are going to be 3 to 5 minutes. There's one here that's around 12 minutes, But the first story is from Dustin Miller. I don't know if you guys know who Dustin is, but you'll find out in just a moment. I'm gonna go ahead and get that ready for you, and I want to make sure that my team is ready to showcase that. Justin, are you ready to spotlight the video? Here we go. Alright, so this should work. And let me make sure that I am also sharing my audio so you guys can hear it. Otherwise, it's not going to be good. All right, so here's the sound. After, after this video, I'm going to open it up for the first round of questions. So here we go. Hello everyone and welcome to 7 Figure Agency Intensive. Iron sharpens iron. My name is Esteban Baez, your host, and today I have with me Dustin Miller with the PPC Pros. Dustin, thank you so much for being here, man.
Yeah, of course.
So I wanted to capture a little bit of your story. Tell us, how did you get started with your agency?
Well, I was actually in real estate and I wanted to get new listings and sales, and so I learned about this thing called AdWords Express. This is like a long time ago, very long time ago. Um, and I found if you run ads with reviews, you get little stars in your ads. So I started doing that for myself. That turned into business pretty easily, pretty consistently. So I started doing that for other people, which led to just putting together kind of like a job, I guess, doing it for other people. And then I ended up meeting a few partners At happenstance, I guess you can say God orchestrated that.
Yeah.
We got together and started what's now PPC Pros.
Wow, okay. And how did you come across our community? How did that happen?
Actually, it was— I saw a bunch of Josh's ads first, and I didn't know who Josh was. I was like, I mean, didn't— I wasn't necessarily gonna do anything. Then a good friend, Ed Stapleton, who's part of the group, okay, told me, hey man, you got to check it out. So I, you know, I always take Ed's recommendations seriously. We've been friends for well over a decade now, I guess. It's been a while.
Nice.
And, uh, so yeah, so I joined based on that and haven't really looked back since. It's been a blessing.
Okay. And when you started, what were you when you started with us and where are you now?
I think we were somewhere around $40 grand a month, $37, $38 grand a month in monthly recurring revenue.
Mm-hmm.
And now we're We kind of toggle between like $73,000 and $80,000. We're almost about at that 7-figure mark. It's been a little bit of an up and down as some agencies get. So yeah, so basically we've doubled in a few years. Excellent.
Yeah.
And what would you say to someone that's considering this community?
I mean, you're not going to find better people. You're not going to find better, you know, I wouldn't say teachers, but like coaches and mentors, the people in the group that give their time. Josh and Yesenia are the best. They know you personally, um, they support you. Like, there's so many more resources than I've been able to take advantage of. Like, honestly, there's so much I have to get to that I just don't have time. But there's always— they're always bringing up new things and always bringing, you know, bringing you templates and things that are working right now, and other agencies sharing what's working for them. And everybody's very giving. That's the other part, is that you got people in the same niche a lot, but they're willing to share. And I'm sure that there's some hesitation there if they're being honest, but they do share kind of what's working for them. And I think it's just great. It's a great group of people and a great, you know, a great coaching and community. I don't think I'd ever leave. I think I'd be there for years, as long as I can.
We'd love to have you here.
Yeah, yeah.
Now tell us a little bit about you specifically when you're not doing your agency stuff.
I'm not doing it now.
What do you like? What do you like to spend your time doing?
Working out, part of a men's ministry, Men's Alliance. Um, which helps get men out of isolation, kind of help them become the husbands, leaders, and fathers that God created them to be. So there's a lot of that going on, going to church, hanging out outdoors, going on paddleboards when it's not cold in Richmond where I live now.
Okay.
Um, and just being outdoors and spending time with my wife and just taking it easy, man. Like, I honestly, I'm looking for doing less and less, just exercise, spend time with friends, spend time with family, and Maybe hit a brewery every now and then, but that's pretty much it. So it's pretty chill.
That's beautiful. Love to hang out with you, man.
That'd be great. Yeah, come out to Richmond.
Awesome. All right, well, thank you so much for this interview, man. I really appreciate it.
Yeah, anytime.
Awesome.
Thanks.
All right, let's go ahead and pause that. What do you guys think? That's Dustin Miller, and he's been a member for quite some time. So do you have any questions? Anything that he said that prompted a question for you? I actually have a couple of questions for you guys. So I totally forgot to do this. This is how live this is. I was supposed to ask you guys where you guys are at in your agency, because we like to know who's in the room. Okay. So if you guys, as you guys start to think, uh, you know what that interview was about, if it did touch you at any way, if it hit a chord, Let us know real brief, which stage is your agency at in its growth? That way we know who's in the room so we can see if we can help you guys out. So we got a Titan here. Awesome. We got someone that's scaling. We have someone that's struggling. Okay. We got all the different phases. Cool. Well, I have Titan interview coming up, so you'll, you'll be able to see that. So excellent. Excellent. Good. Thank you for letting me know, guys. Let's go ahead and do we have any other polls that I forgot to mention? Justin, let me know. We have another poll because that one, we have another one. Okay. Let's do the second one. Let's go ahead and do it. All right. What type of agency do you run? A full service agency, an SEO agency, a paid ads agency, social, or is it all of the above? Okay. Full service. Okay. Awesome. That's what we like to hear. Cause Josh is a big believer in running a full service agency and any other questions that we have, uh, Justin, are we good?
We're good.
That was the final one. Thank you guys for answering those. Let us know who's in the room. All right. So questions, I'm going to be in the chat right now. And, uh, or if you guys want to turn on your mics, Who has a question about 7 Figure Agency? Anything relating to Josh or maybe what you heard on the interview? If you don't, then I'll move on to the next interview. All right, so I see somebody type something in the chat here. Let's see. Okay, thank you, Tony. Appreciate it. All right, any questions? Any questions? Comments? Any jokes? Anybody has any jokes? Just kidding, guys. Yeah, I like jokes. All right, let's go to the next. Let's go to the next interview. I'm only going to showcase 4 interviews, guys, so we're— we got, got a few here. Let me pick the next one. Now that I know who's in the room, it makes it a bit easier for me to choose the next interview. Uh, so the next one that I think will be relevant to you guys is gonna be this one right here. Hello everyone, and pause that. Uh, this one is a little bit long, but it's definitely worth it, guys. This guy is, is already doing 7 figures and is moving very closely to becoming a Titan, uh, if he's not already. So this is a good one to watch. So go ahead and play it for you guys, and then as he's talking, if you think of a question, write it down, put it in the chat. And when this interview is done, we'll go ahead and answer that question. All right. So let me go ahead and share my screen. I think you guys are already seeing it. So, and welcome to 7 Figure Agency Intensive, Iron Sharpens Iron.
My name is Esteban Baez, and today I have with me Luke Eggebraten, owner of Fazer Marketing. Esteban, thank you so much.
Thank you for being here, man. I'm so happy that you're here because I get to ask you all the juicy questions.
And I love it. And you always one-up me on the suit. You're always looking good.
Thank you. I appreciate that.
Yeah.
So tell me your origin story. How did you get started in the agency space?
Yeah, I love it. So in 2019, I was working a full-time job. I just graduated from college and I wanted to start my own business. And I thought a marketing agency would be so perfect. So like most people, digital marketing for small businesses. Businesses. That's how I started. Very broad, right? Yeah, very broad.
For everybody.
First client was a real estate agency. Second client was a demolition company.
Okay.
And so very broad. And the company name was Fazer Marketing.
Okay.
And as I was working through that, my whole goal was I'm going to work full-time until one day, hopefully, potentially, I can do my business full-time. So I'm going to have a full-time job until maybe one day I can pay myself on this business.
So you had a job.
Yep.
And you had the business.
Exactly, but I didn't take a penny out of the business until I was able to go full-time.
Now quick question.
Yep.
Were you single, married at the time? What was going on?
So I was dating my now wife, Olivia.
Okay.
And she loved it. It was more of the hustle. And so on nights, weekends, and my lunch breaks, I would work on this little side project called Fazer Marketing.
Yeah.
And I'd start to get a couple clients, but what that really helped with is over 2 years I didn't pay myself anything, but I learned how to invoice customers.
Okay.
I learned how to take care of customers. I learned how to do this digital marketing piece.
Mhm.
But I also learned how to build a team because I didn't know how to do any of this stuff, and I in my mind didn't have time to learn it all. Right. So I would just hire contractors and say, hey, if I pay you $1,200, would you be able to build this website that I'm going to charge $3,600 for, right? Absolutely, that sounds great. So I started building up this team, and then if you fast forward— contractors, of contractors, yes. So, um, for many years I was only contractors, and it came to a point where it was 2021, my wife was applying for jobs, she had just, uh, graduated with her MBA, okay, and she got accept— she accepted a job offer in Arizona, and I'd never been to the state of Arizona, but I loved the idea of it. We were from northern Minnesota, and we love the idea of going down south. So she accepted the job. At this time, uh, I left my full-time job, which is in Nebraska, and I was going to move down to Arizona. The plan was to maybe find another job and keep running this side agency. Okay, we're doing about $8,000 month in monthly recurring revenue.
You no longer had a job?
No longer had a job, but my goal was, yeah, I'll go get a job probably.
Okay.
And I'll never forget it, we're at a bar just kind of celebrating the move and kind of a going away party, and one of Olivia's friends said, she was asking me what I'm gonna do next, and she's like, well, why don't you just go full-time with Fazer? And I was looking for an excuse, I was like, well, because Right. I was like, shoot, maybe I should just give it a whack. You know, I've been doing it for 2 years. We had some money coming in, had about probably $6,000 in the business bank account. I said, you know what, let's do it. So we moved down to Arizona and I went full-time. It was August 2021 and I paid myself my first paycheck of $500 and every 2 weeks I paid myself $500.
Okay.
And And that was big because my wife just got a new job, so she got a raise, and I left my job, and so I fell down. And so why I bring that up is because if my wife wouldn't have supported me through all of that, yeah, we wouldn't be sitting here today because I would have to continue going out making a paycheck, continue going out getting a job, which is fine. Yeah, but Olivia said, I'm here for you. Absolutely. Go get it done. I believe in you. And man, as an entrepreneur, if you hear that, especially from your significant other, it fuels you up.
Well, you melt and then you get charged up, right?
Absolutely. And then, so that is in August 2021.
Wow.
And I'm just like, I know I can make this work. And the belief and the confidence, my wife believes in me. And I was like, okay, I'm gonna look into this more. I need to continue educating myself. On LinkedIn, I followed a guy named Tony Ricketts.
Oh, Tony.
And Tony Ricketts, and I messaged him on LinkedIn. I was like, dude, love the business, love what you're doing, any advice? I just went full-time in August, would be great. He said, Luke, read this book, it's called The 7-Figure Agency Roadmap by Joshua Nelson. If you read it and you want to come to the— we do a live intensive 3 times a year, let me know, you can be my guest. If not, no problem, it's a great book.
Right.
I was like, I love it. And so I got the book, read it. The great thing about Josh's book, everything's in there. It is a roadmap from A to Z. And I'm like, he doesn't hold back. And I was just, I messaged Tony right away. I said, I'm in. Let me know what I gotta do, if I gotta pay, whatever. He said, you can come for free as my guest. You pay for your flight and your hotel and you're gonna love it. And that was November intensive 2021. And today as we sit here, this is my 10th intensive in a row.
10?
10.
Wow. And it— You haven't missed one? So funny story. Yeah.
So I missed, I missed— there's two parts to this story.
Okay.
So the only one I missed was because I got a speaking gig at the biggest construction trade show in North America.
Okay.
130,000 people go to this trade show in Las Vegas.
Which is your niche.
Which is my niche. Yeah. And the excavation space.
Right.
And I got that speaking gig, I would attest everything to 7 Figure Agency. So it was almost like that hat tip, that salute to like, wow.
Yeah.
The only reason I'm missing my favorite event is because of this opportunity that this group helped me get to.
Right.
And if you do the quick math, you're like, well, that— there's an extra intensive in there because I did come to Miami on accident one time. So quick story, in July of that year, I was like, I was so excited. I was fired up, excited to see all my friends, get back with everybody. And I live in Phoenix, Arizona. Miami's kind of a long flight and I like to fly budget airlines.
Okay.
So usually I fly like up to Detroit and then down to Miami, or I'll fly to Vegas and then Miami, middle row seat. Okay. You know, I'd sit in the lavatory if it saved me $80. And so I'm all fired up for this intensive.
Right.
And I do this whole round trip. It's a 30-hour with layovers, flights and everything.
Okay.
And I get to Miami, I get off the plane, and I'll never forget it. I text, I text Forrest, one of my good friends in the group. I said, when do you land? And remember, this is Monday at like noon. I'm like, "Hey man, when do you get in?" And he's like, "Oh, I get in Monday at like 11 AM." I was like, "That's kind of a weird way to say it. Like it's already past 11." Right. And I was like, it kind of dawned on me and I'm sweating a little bit because it's Miami. I was like, "Oh shoot." And I called a couple other people and they're like, "Dude, the intensive is not for another 2 weeks." So I drove all the way across, or I flew all the way across the country. To come to the intensive on the wrong weekend.
You were on the wrong day.
And so then I basically walked back to the airport, grabbed an ice cream cone from Dairy Queen, grabbed the next flight out and flew all the way to Vegas and then back home that same day. And then 2 weeks later came back. So that's why I say it's been 10 because I came to Miami, the idea was there, the thought was there.
Yeah, so that's your 10th one.
That's the 10th one. Because I still learned a lesson.
Right.
And that's to triple check the dates. Right. But yeah, man, it's been an absolute blessing. I just love this group, the excitement, getting to meet all of you guys, but then not just meet you guys, but continue these relationships as well. And that's been one of the biggest drivers.
That's powerful. Thank you for sharing that. Yeah. That was so funny.
Man, it's kind of a wild journey, but yeah, that's why I always triple check now the dates.
Cool.
Hello.
Triple check.
Yeah.
So let me ask you this. Where were you back then? You were at $8K, you said?
Yep.
Right. Yep. So where are you today? Fast forward 3 years, right? Yep.
Yep. Yeah. So 3 years, we just crossed about $105K in monthly recurring revenue.
Let's go.
Yeah, dude, let's go. I mean, it's such a blessing. We have zero project work.
Okay.
We have 67 excavation clients. Wow. To do anything outside of our niche. And because that's what we learned here. Don't do project work, niche down.
Right.
Like, okay, just follow the recipe. Follow the recipe. And the way I look at this wonderful business, uh, and this opportunity is I'm just a steward of God's resources of this business. And I get to manage this and I'm going to do the best I can to do that and lead our team and lead these clients and, and learn and grow, but at the end of the day, it's, it's not mine. And so just really keeping that in mind, um, and making that impact is something I'm very passionate about.
It sounds like you really understand your role.
Yeah.
As, uh, in what you're doing here.
Absolutely.
Yeah, I love that. Yeah. Good. So let me ask you two more questions.
Let's do it.
All right, if someone is on the fence Yeah, they're thinking about this community and they're watching this video. What would you say to them?
Yeah, to me that's easy. First thing, book a call with me. You can find me on all platforms. I manage all my social media. Okay, Luke Eggebraten or Fazer Marketing. Yeah, shoot me a DM, I'll message you right back. Would love to meet with any agency owner. Yeah, that is what I love to do most. Even I don't even really enjoy the marketing stuff. I enjoy like helping others, answering questions, any of that kind of stuff. Because I know how much it's impacted my life and everyone else in this room.
Right.
So first things first, shoot me a message. I would love to answer any questions, book a call. Second thing, and what I'm going to tell them on the call, is to buy Josh's book, The 7-Figure Agency Roadmap. Right. Those two things, it's a no-brainer for them, for me, for anyone. But then the third step would be if you are serious and if you do want to come check it out, let me know because as you guys do, you set it up so well where I can invite somebody as a guest, my guest, they can come on Monday, I believe it's OnRamp, and they get to learn the ins and outs of it and they get to make a decision of like, I can come for free and if I want to stay the whole time, then I'll commit.
That's correct.
And it's—
we call it Roadmap Live.
Roadmap Live.
Yeah.
And it is the absolute best thing you can do because then you're taking a chance on yourself, right? And you're at least opening the book and there's nothing holding you back because it's a flight and maybe a one-night hotel room stay because if you want to leave, you can.
Yeah.
But what you will see will change your life. I mean, you'll get here and you'll start to meet a couple people, you'll shake some hands You'll see like something special is going on here and there's a reason there's 300+ agency owners in one place. Digital marketing agency owners.
That's right.
That are all niched down. And you'll be like, man, I gotta check out Tuesday and Wednesday. Like, let's do it, let's commit. 90-day commitment or, you know, 6-month commitment, let's do it, give myself a chance. And then my biggest piece of advice to anyone looking to jump into the group potentially, Even if there's hundreds and hundreds of resources online, trainings, the least you can do is just show up in person in Miami each intensive and you will get— your cup will be filled up. You'll get more than you can even know what to do with in relationships and mentorships and in business growth. And I mean, it'll just— it'll change your life.
That's powerful.
Yeah.
You know, we usually don't let members join until they hit the $10,000 a month MRR. So I think you snuck in there.
I did lie on my application.
It was a white lie.
I don't condone that, but if you're close enough, like, just bump it up a little bit. They're not gonna look at your QuickBooks, so if you're at $8,500 monthly recurring revenue, bump it up to $10K and come with the right mindset. Come ready to go, come ready to learn. And build those relationships. But man, if that's what's slowing you down, it's just the breath of fresh air coming to these events. And you get home and your spouse or your family is just gonna be like, man, what did— what was in the water out there? Was this a cult or what's going on?
But that's funny.
It's absolutely amazing.
Yeah.
Now I know I told you I had two questions, right?
Yeah.
So the second question I have is, when you're not working What do you do with your free time?
Yeah.
And do you have any free time?
Yes.
Right, because a lot of people say, oh well, I gotta implement and execute all these things, right?
So yeah, I love that question. So I think a big misconception, at least with what people have with my life, is that I'm so busy and I'm always working, and it's just, it's just not true. Like, I have, uh, prioritized time with my wife. Yeah, traveling. I love playing, uh, pickleball, golf. I love working out. I love, yeah, just like exploring the world. And work isn't everything for me, but that is one of my hobbies, I will say, is working and is running businesses. And I just, I think it's so fun. But what, what I like to do is, so my wife and I, Olivia, we love budgeting. So even though like if we have a successful business or if she's, she's doing well or gets a raise, we're still very mindful of our money. So I wouldn't say frugal, but very mindful. So what we have is a travel fund. We say, okay, this is from the business, we take a distribution every quarter and that goes into a travel fund and that's what we get to go do because that's one of our favorite things. Travel. Yeah. And then also we have these little side hustles of we love to watch dogs through the Rover app. And so the money we make from watching those dogs funnels right into the travel fund. And so the more like little side hustles we do, the more we get to go do fun things. Wow. And it's just, I think just that you have to earn it first.
Yeah.
I love because with where we're at in business, yeah, we, I could go buy a new truck, I could go buy a new house or whatever, but there's so much more we want to do, setting up our eventual kids, our future kids, but also just build a business and build careers for our employees and wanting to make sure that I see us as having one shot at this, at building FaZe or marketing, and I want to lead, I want to be outrageously generous with our money, and I think that just goes back to being a manager, a steward of the business. And so making sure that it's in good hands, it's healthy, and that we're all flourishing from it.
Powerful. Yeah, thank you so much.
Absolutely.
That was very powerful. I really enjoyed listening to your story, man.
Thank you so much. This has been a blast. I appreciate it. Your jackets always inspire me, and I need to go shop. Awesome.
And welcome to 7 Mile Agency in Tennessee. Wow, that was Luke, guys. Let me go ahead and shut it off. My name is— hold on one second.
And today I have with me Ginger Allen.
Ginger, thank you so much for being here.
Thank you.
Please forgive me for the slight hiccup here. A little bit about how you got started in the digital marketing space. All right, so that was Luke, guys. That was Luke. What an inspiring story. 3 years ago he was doing $8K and now he's doing over $100K. Let's go, Luke. So we have some questions that have been posted. Let's go ahead and read through these. First question that I have here is from YouTube. So we are live on YouTube. Hello everybody on YouTube. This is from Mario Garza. If you are currently not operating in a niche, can you still join 7 Figure Agency? The answer is yes, as long as you're willing to niche down. So let me explain what we mean by a niche. So Josh is— I'm going to use Josh as an example. So Josh is in the home services category. So the first thing I want to say is if you think the category is the niche, by 7 Figure Agency definition, the category is not the niche, right? So home services has all kinds of services. So Josh is in that category, but his niche is plumbers. Using Josh as an example, you have to be willing to niche, right? So if you're in a category, just select a niche, and then you can also select up to 2 sub-niches that are relatable to the primary niche that you're targeting. So for example, Josh targets also HVAC companies and electricians, right? So he's in the plumbing niche, Uh, and his— the name of his company is Plumbing HVAC SEO, right? But he also will take an electrician. Now, would— if you ask Josh, would he take a roofer? I think you guys know what the answer would be. You could put in the chat, would Josh take a roofer based by on this definition, yes or no? Even though he's in the home service category, the answer is no. That is correct, he wouldn't take a roofer. Those are his primary niche is plumbers. Now, if you're just getting started And you're getting referred new business, of course you should take that new business because you're growing your business, but you should decide on a niche and then scale and grow that niche. That's what we teach here at 7 Figure Agency. So if you need help with that, just book a call with me. I can help you select your niche, and you can definitely join 7 Figure Agency as long as you're willing To niche down. That's the answer to that question. All right, second question. We have a question from YouTube. Actually, no, this one is from Facebook. This is Nelson. Nelson, I'm not going to try to say your name, so Nelson T, because I cannot pronounce that last name. Do I get direct access to Joshua Nelson or is it mostly group Coaching? That's an excellent question. So we— I'll start with the group coaching and how coaching works here at 7 Figure Agency. So if you decide to become a member, we take you through an onboarding process where we ask you very specific questions because we need to know where you are in your agency and, and what stage of the business you're in, because our goal here at 7 Figure Agency is to help you get to 7 figures. Then we have to help you get to multiple 7 figures. So do you get a designated coach? Yes. Is that coach going to be Joshua Nelson? No, it's not gonna be Josh. Josh has decided that, and we have— you'll get access to all of our coaches here. So all of our coaches are usually an Elite member or a Titan member. That means they've already done 7 figures. Okay, so Most of our coaches, I would say 95% of our coaches have already done 7 figures or they're doing multiple 7 figures. So one of those coaches is gonna be your designated coach. Now, if you don't get a coach that's doing 7 figures, you're gonna get someone that's doing more revenue than you, okay? And they're still gonna be able to teach you the ropes. So that's, so you'll get a designated coach. Will you have access to Joshua Nelson as a member? The answer is yes. We host 3 in-person gatherings, and Josh is always present at those in-person gatherings. He is the host of the in-person gatherings with his wife, Joshua Nelson. And Josh is very approachable. So you can just approach him at an in-person gathering, ask him questions, and as a member, if you need to get on Josh's calendar because you want to ask him a question, you want to have a conversation with him, You can get on his calendar. You just request it. Let us know, and we'll put you on the calendar to have a conversation with Josh if it's an absolute must and you want to get— you need to talk with him, right? But we have so many coaches, and Josh will tell you himself, sometimes they're even more qualified on a subject matter than he might be, right? So he might even say, well, you need to talk to this guy. You don't need to get that answer from me. You need to get it from him, right? Or from her. So, it depends what your situation is. But yeah, is Josh accessible? Yes. Can you get on Josh's calendar? Yes, of course you can. And you can have a conversation with Josh if you need. As a member, you can do that. All right, so I hope I answered that question. The next question is from YouTube. Roderick Alexander says, "My agency specializes in marketing for..." "Veterinarians, will your program still work for me?" Without hesitation, yes. The program works for anyone in any niche, specifically if you're in a niche that serves a local service-based area, right? If you're a local service-based business, our model will definitely work for you. We actually have members, I think currently, that, that target that niche as well. So you'll find some of your competition here, but you guys can become collaborators. right? So if that is your niche, so the answer is yes, it will work for you. Now I want to do put a disclaimer. Everything that we teach works, but you have to put in the work, right? So that's the, that's the disclaimer here, right? So it's not because we— you could have two people in the same niche. One person will grow it to seven figures and and the other person may struggle to grow it, right? And then the question is, is it the niche or is it the person? What I've learned in the 3 years of being here and all the interviews that I've done, it is never the niche, it's always the person, okay? It's never the niche, it's always the person. Can the person select the wrong niche for themselves? Yes. Yes, they can. Josh, when he started, he didn't start with plumbers, he started with dentists. So a lot of people don't know that. And that didn't work for him, but he switched to plumbers and that worked for him. So you have to know who you are as a person and what your personality is and where your areas of strengths are because every niche has a language and you might resonate better talking to, like in Joshua Nelson's scenario, talking to a plumber than talking to a dentist. So you have to know yourself too when you select a niche. So I hope that makes sense and I answer that question. All right, any other questions before we go to— I think we have time for one more story or video interview. By the way, if you're just tuning in, welcome. This is Roadmap Live Q&A. We have our Roadmap Live event coming up on Monday, March March 3rd, yes, March 3rd is Roadmap Live. It starts at 9 AM and I have some announcements, so if you stick with me, I have some surprises that I'm going to share with you about Roadmap Live that's coming up on Monday. And if you are an established agency, whether you're niche or not niche, it doesn't matter at this time, as long as you're willing to niche, we will definitely give you a free ticket to attend the in-person gathering. It's in Miami. We do it, uh, we're doing it on Monday, uh, and we would love to have you. So any other questions? I'm not noticing any other questions in the chats. Let's go ahead and get into our last Roadmap Live story. And, uh, and this is one of my personal favorites. This is a Titan story, okay? This is someone that has taken their niche and they have grown to multiple 7 figures. So they're doing more than $2 million a year, and, uh, and they're one of our Titans. So let me just share, uh, what I mean by Titan. We have 3 levels in our community. The first level is called Accelerate. This is everyone that's doing more than $10K, but they're not doing $83,000 a month in monthly recurring revenue. That's an Accelerate member. The second level is an Elite member. An Elite member is doing at least $83,000 a month, but they're not doing more than $165,000 a month in monthly recurring revenue. And then our last level of membership is our Titan membership. That's someone that is doing well beyond $165,000, doing at least $166,000 a month in monthly recurring revenue. They've taken their business to multiple 7 figures. So, and A lot of our businesses in Titan level, they're doing more than $5 million a year, okay? So, which is your next goal after you hit a million. You want to get to $5 million, and after you hit $5 million, you want to do more than that, right? So that's how this goes, and those are different groups. So this is going to be my last interview that I'm going to showcase. It is with Kris Rodriguez. It's one of my personal favorite interviews because I come from the martial arts world, and that's her niche. She focuses on martial arts studios, and this is a really cool interview. It was an honor for me to do, so I was really happy and excited to do this interview. So let me go ahead and set it up here. This is Chris Rodriguez interview. Let me pull it up. Hello, my name is— All right, and I hope you guys enjoy it. And then this is your last chance to put questions in the comments section of Facebook. If you're on YouTube, put it in the comments section of YouTube. And if you're here live on Zoom, please post your questions. This is your last chance as we watch this last interview. This is going to be about 12 minutes or less, so please enjoy. Here we go. Esteban Baez, and I'm here with 7 Figure Agency, and today we're interviewing Chris Rodriguez. Chris, thank you so much for being here with us.
Honored.
And we're just gonna chat about your story. We really want to learn about you and how you came across digital marketing. Sure. How did you become a digital marketer?
Yeah, so I've been a lifelong martial artist. I started when I was 8 years old, and on the first day that I stepped onto the dojo carpet, I knew that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. So when I— after graduating college, I ended up opening my own jiu-jitsu school. Wow. And in order to pay the bills, you got to figure out how to sign up new students.
Okay.
So I went all in in learning marketing, and there's lots of different types of marketing you could do with a martial arts school, and I wanted one where I could stay in my air-conditioned office. Because I live in Florida and it's super hot. So like flyering cars or doing door hangers or being a PE teacher for the day was not my jam. So I started learning Facebook ads and I started learning Google ads, and I absolutely love the fact that I could open my laptop, you know, you know, type into the computer and literally have leads on tap. And we grew very, very quickly. Through predominantly digital marketing. And then other martial arts schools started seeing all of the pictures on social media of me having all of these kids in my program. And they reached out and said like, how are you doing that? And it's like, oh, just, you know, running Facebook ads and running Google ads. So that's how I, I really started learning about marketing. Um, my mom was actually a marketing director for a very big pharmaceutical company, so I guess it's kind of in my blood as well, but I had no other choice but to learn it if I wanted to grow my martial arts school.
So it sounds like it was out of necessity.
100%.
You needed to put some bodies on the mat.
Exactly.
So, wow. And now looking back at your story, when did you come across 7 Figure Agency and Joshua Nelson?
Yeah, so when those martial arts school owners were reaching out and asking like, how are you scaling so quickly? And I said, oh, you know, we're doing Facebook ads, we're doing Google ads. You know, they said, well, can, can you teach me? And I said, sure, why not? So I put together an 8-week marketing mastermind course for these school owners, and we would spend like a couple of weeks on Facebook, couple of weeks on Google, and I taught them exactly, you know, the campaigns that I was doing in my school. And at the end of the 8 weeks Everybody was blown away with the content. Chris, this was so amazing. We learned so much, but we don't want to do this. Can you just do it for me?
Okay.
And I was like, no, I'm just teaching it. I have a degree in education, so I love teaching.
Yeah.
And, uh, you know, I said no. And then I did another 8 weeks and got a bunch of other school owners to participate.
This was in person or—
no, this was all virtual. It was on Zoom, and this was back in 2018, 2019. And I taught another 8-week course, and at the end of the 8 weeks, same thing. Chris, this is amazing, but we don't want to do it. Will you just do it for me? And finally I said sure. So I took on 10 clients, and at the time in my martial arts school, it was really operating by itself. Okay, so when I took on these 10 clients, I realized, man, I just bought myself another job. And, uh, I needed to start building a team, so I started using 1099 contractors to help with the media buying and was able to grow it to about $30,000 MRR just from the business practices that I had taught myself with, you know, owning a martial arts school.
Wow.
And then COVID hit, and when COVID hit, all the martial arts schools got shut down, right? I was navigating how do I keep my martial arts school afloat, how do I also keep this side hustle, which at $30,000 a month was pretty good. It's getting bigger. It's not just like the side hustle.
Yeah.
And, uh, I ended up seeing an ad on Instagram for Joshua Nelson's Roadmap book.
Okay.
Instantly bought the book, read it in one sitting, took a picture of the book and tagged Joshua Nelson on Instagram. And he immediately reached out via DM, and that is where this beautiful journey of being a part of this amazing community began.
Wow. So the Roadmap book.
The Roadmap book. It is great lead magnet, guys.
Okay, awesome. Now, what would you tell someone who's looking at this that might not— they're considering making the decision to join a coaching program How do you feel about coaching programs and specifically our coaching program for digital marketing agencies?
Yeah. So, you know, I came to Seven Figure at a very difficult time period, which was, you know, going through COVID and I ended up losing about 30% of our clients. Oh wow. And that's really the main reason why I reached out. And it's so interesting because I had a mentor for my martial arts school. I had a coach that owned a bunch of martial arts schools and taught me what to do and had never like considered finding an agency coach, which is just so silly now that I look back on it. And, um, you know, just the, the entire process from the second that, uh, you know, I, I did the, the discovery call, the sales call, um, I have just been absolutely blown away by what has been, what's been provided and how much 7 Figure, whatever they say they're gonna do, you guys do it, right? So for me at the time, you know, we were at that $30,000. We lost a third of our clientele. I became a client, a 7-figure. I told my wife, it was like a 3-day weekend, and I was like, babe, I need 3 days uninterrupted, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. I've got to get through this online portal. And at the time it was the OnRamp.
Okay.
And I watched every single video implemented immediately all of the information.
And, uh, you did all the on-ramp?
All the on-ramp, which back then it wasn't as big as it, you know, it is now. And, uh, I just went, you know, all in. I made the decision, you know, like everybody's definition of success is, is different, but when you're looking for a mentor, you need to find a mentor who has done the thing that you are wanting to do. Right? And Josh had done that. He had built a multiple 7-figure agency, and it's like, okay, well, he knows how to do it. He's taught all of these other people how to do it. If they can do it, I can do it. I just have to follow the recipe. And I think one of the mistakes that a lot of people make with coaching is they want to modify, they don't want to model. And that was one thing that I thought I did very well. I'm not trying to change the recipe. He's given me the recipe, It calls for chocolate chips. I'm going to use chocolate chips. I'm not going to use raisins. Right?
Right.
And I think if you just go into this and you just model everything that's been provided, you're literally given a roadmap. This is where you start. This is the next thing that you do. You're given a checklist. If you do that, I mean, it's, it's— you will 100% reach your, your goals. And, you know, I joined Seven Figure in 2020. Here we are in the middle of 2024, and our monthly recurring revenue is at $310,000. So we're knocking on the door of a $4 million agency.
That's amazing.
And in under 4 years, you know, I mean, so—
and congratulations.
Thank you.
That's powerful.
And there are so many other success stories inside of 7 Figure just like that. So, you know, don't think like, oh, the— well, you're in a different niche, or that wouldn't work, you know, where I'm at. It works. You just have to work, right?
Now, a lot of people might hear this and think to themselves, but there's so much information out there.
Yeah.
Why do I have to join a community? Why do I have to get a coach if I could just go on YouTube and learn a lot of these things on my own?
Yeah. I mean, I think one of the greatest things about Seven Figure is that they literally tell you, if this is where you are at, this is where you start. And it's a checklist and it says, okay, do you have, you know, has your niche been selected? Have you done that yet? You got to do that first. We check that off, right? Have you created your, you know, video sales landing page? If you haven't done that, you're going to do that next. There is, and success is sequential. And if you just follow that sequence that is provided, then you'll be able to do it. Just like, I think we're at 122 7-figure agencies that 7 Figure has. You know, built. So there's, there's a lot of evidence that, that it works.
Good. What would you tell yourself if you were looking back in time, looking at yourself now? Is there something you would tell yourself that you wish somebody would have told you while you were going through your process and your journey?
You know, I'm— I, I love where I'm at right now, and, and I'm really focusing on enjoying the journey. You know, I coach a lot of the members here inside of Seven Figure, and I look at these guys that are at $30,000 and $40,000 and the problems that they're dealing with, and I reminisce about, like, man, I remember being in the weeds like that. I would have told myself to find Josh on day one.
Love it.
Because while we have had very quick growth, it would have happened a lot faster. There's also been times where, you know, a coach has told me to do something and I sat on it just a little too long. So especially with the things where you might have a mental block, like for me it was pricing, raising my rates, right? I was told, Chris, you are not charging enough, you've got to raise your rates. And I had this mental block like, oh my God, I'm gonna lose all my clients if I do that, or we're not gonna be able to sell it. The The second we did it, like, our sales just continued to increase, you know. Um, so yeah, maybe just listening a little bit faster with some of the things that I felt I had a very strong opinion on.
Yeah, so it sounds like get a coach and listen to your coach.
Exactly.
And do what your coach tells you to do.
Yes, yes. Model, don't modify.
That's excellent. So one last question for you.
Sure.
When you're not working, what are you passionate about? Do you have any hobbies? Is there something that you love spending your time doing? Something that probably you don't tell people that you might want to share and reveal.
Yeah, you know, I think it's an interesting question because what I love doing is working. And with, you know, what you hear from a lot of people, you have to have this work-life balance. And, um, if I absolutely love what I do wouldn't I want to do as much of that as I can?
That makes sense.
And I think that often a lot of super successful people are often misunderstood, and you have to be okay with being misunderstood. So for me, you know, the way that I'm able to release, the way that I'm able to show up, is I prioritize my health. Go to the gym every single morning. Um, that to me is something I, you know, enjoy doing. Maybe not on the car ride there at, you know, 6 o'clock in the morning, like, oh, do I really have to do this?
Yeah.
But that is something I enjoy doing. All of not work time is dedicated to my family. So I have a 4-year-old boy, his name's Cruz. My wife Stephanie, I have 2 older sons, Darian and Nate. And to me, if, you know, my calendar is open, it's— that time is for them. I do love a great pickleball game though. So if anybody wants to play pickleball, I'd love, love to do that. But Yeah, I'm just, uh, I really am aiming to just try to get 1% better every day. So I'm very conscious of the things that I am spending my time on. Is, is this going to help me get 1% better?
Love it, Chris. Thank you so much.
You're welcome.
Great. Happy to have you here.
Thank you so much.
And that is Chris Rodriguez interview. Man, that was one of my favorite ones, everybody. So I really enjoy reminiscing and watching the interview as well. That was pretty cool to do that. Uh, so we have a longer question. Uh, actually we have two of them. So I'm going to go ahead and address those first. So if you have a question, this is your last chance. And please stay tuned because I have an announcement after these questions. But man, that was such a good one. A couple of takeaways there. Two people mentioned pickleball. So if you're going to be part of this community, you better get your pickle game up. Now I'm just teasing. But yeah, that was cool. That was a great interview. I really enjoyed watching that. So Justin, we got Brandon Okogi, I hope I said that right. If I said it wrong, I apologize. Says, "Hey Esteban, if I were to join, is there any access for my team members that is permitted?" That is an excellent question, and I don't always get that one. So when you join 7 Figure Agency, you get a membership for your agency. So if you have A-players in your agency, they're able to plug in and get their own access because we use a platform that allows you to track everything you've done because we do have lessons and things that you can download and use. We call it our Swipe and Deploy library of things that you can just grab, right, and have a starting point instead of having to start from scratch, right? So instead of you having to do and learn everything, You literally give access to your A-players or your leadership team or your business partners, and they can have their own credentials and access all of the things that you can access. And you can determine the level of access every person can have in the account. So that's the answer to that question. So, Brandon, yeah, that's that. The next question— let's see if I missed one here. I just want to make sure I got all of them. Okay, the next question is a longer question here from Facebook. Okay, Jordan Balencunias, I believe is how you say his name. My agency has grown to multiple six figures. Congratulations on that. But we're stuck at a plateau because I'm still heavily involved in sales, fulfillment, and operations. This is a common situation for a lot of members that come in. "I know I need better systems, but I'm worried about the transition. How does 7 Figure Agency help owners like me step out of day-to-day tasks while ensuring revenue continues to grow without service quality dropping?" So here's the truthful answer to this, okay? So the truth is that when you're making changes, you might break some things temporarily, but by breaking it, you can fix it, put it together. So here's the thing, instead of breaking it without guidance, like if you break it and you don't have a coach, that's really— you're going to really break it, right? And then you're going to have to recreate the wheel and figure it out. But if you're going to rearrange things with the guidance of a coach, right, someone that's done it already, that's going to prevent you from actually taking like 10 steps back, right? Maybe you'll take 2 steps back instead of 10, right? Because the coach is saying, well, here, this is what needs to happen, right? And I don't know your exact situation. So, the first thing that's going to happen is you're going to go through onboarding, right? We're going to figure out your situation. You might think you need to do something, but one of our coaches might tell you, hey, that's not what you need to do. That's why you join a community like this, because people have done and undone things in their agency so many times, especially people that are doing 7 figures and multiple 7 figures. So you're not gonna be blinded, right? You're gonna have someone that can guide you step by step through the change so you don't have to, to worry. And then if there's gonna be some setbacks, at least you'll know in advance what those setbacks are gonna be and you can prepare for it. But the truth is if you are doing things in a very— let's talk about here in a way that is not productive or efficient, then especially for scaling, you just have to accept the reality that you're going to have to move some things and potentially break some things temporarily for the greater good of your goal. Okay, so I hope I answered that. And I hope that doesn't scare you or deter you from joining and getting a coach, right? You want to make sure that you surround yourself with people that have been there, done that, got the t-shirt, and then be like, all right, I can do this. So that's my answer to that question. I hope that helps. All right, so it is now 4 o'clock, everybody. So we're going to do something that we like to do. If you're still here and you're watching Live, we have the ability for you to ask one or two final more questions, but inside of a breakout room, okay? But before that, before we go into the breakout rooms, I want to make the announcement that I know you guys have been kind of waiting for. So the announcement is this: we know that a lot of people really wanted to come to the in-person Roadmap Live this time around. We don't know if we're gonna do this again, but we're going to try something new. We're going to give people that, that are qualified, right? So if you're qualified, we're gonna give you virtual access so that you can see and be there Monday morning. You could be in the room from the comfort of your own home, wherever you are. But we ask that you set aside the entire days from 9 to 5. Set it aside because Josh is going to be teaching the entire day, revealing The 7-Figure Agency Blueprint, the roadmap. He's gonna be talking about everything in detail. And that's an entire day event, so I'm going to put that link here in the chat. Actually, Justin, if you have it, can you please put it in there? I can also gather it if you don't have it. And so that's announcement number 1. Announcement number 2, for those of you that are still watching, if you put in the comments, in the comments and let me know that you would like to get a copy of the book that was mentioned today. This was the book that was mentioned. If you haven't read this book, I want to send you a free gift. I want to send you the audiobook of the 7-Figure Agency Roadmap. This is the book that helped a lot of people get started. And if you have not read through this, this has a ton of recipes in here. Here. So, um, uh, Henry, if you will be kind enough to put that here for the people that are live, you guys can get that right now if you're in Zoom. And if you're not in Zoom, just put book in the comments and we'll go ahead and send you the audiobook for tuning in and watching this live. We actually sell this book and the audio version. So, uh, so you're gonna get a digital copy of it and you're gonna get the the audiobook as well. So those are free gifts. I promised you I was gonna give you something, so there it is. And the announcement is that if you want to, to still do Roadmap Live and you can't make it in person, uh, go ahead and register for our virtual Roadmap Live link here. And if you are on YouTube or on Facebook, uh, and we haven't posted that link yet, all you have to do is in the comments just put, put virtual. Okay, if you put virtual, that let us know that you're interested in virtual. And if you're on YouTube, we would like for you to do that on Instagram. So just go to Josh Nelson Coach, I believe is our Instagram account. Can you confirm that, Justin, and let us know? But I believe it is just Josh Nelson Coach, and then send us a a direct message with the word virtual. If you put the word virtual, we'll send you all the information on Instagram. So if you're on YouTube, just hop over to Instagram and do that, and we'll make it happen. With that said, guys, that concludes our Roadmap Live. And if you're still here live, I see that we have 3 people here, uh, based on where you are, you are— if you are doing more than 7 figures, stay here in the, in the room, and I'll talk to you Uh, if you have any final questions, if you're doing less than 7 figures, then go into a breakout room with Henry. We have a breakout room open right now. 6 figures, not 7. Yeah. Yeah. If you're doing my bad, if you're doing 6 figures, yeah. If you're doing less than, less than, than 7 figures, right? So if you're doing less than 7 figures, go into a breakout room with, uh, with Henry. Actually, the number is less than $10K per month. If you're doing less than $10,000 per month, you need to talk to Henry. So he'll give you a very special offer as well. But if you're doing, if you're doing more than $10,000 in monthly recurring revenue, stay here and I'll be happy to answer any of your questions about our program specifically and the offer that we have going on. Because we actually have an offer for you if you want to sign up and become a member now. So anyone that's interested on becoming a member today, just stick around, um, and you can join the breakout rooms. So we have 2 breakout rooms, guys. Actually, I'm gonna move myself to the, to the $10K+ breakout room if I see somebody entering that room. Uh, the less than $10K room, I don't see anyone enter. Oh yeah, there is Tony entered the less. Jeff, are you gonna I do say thanks, guys. I gotta jump. All right, Jeff. Jeff, where are you at, just so I have an idea? Uh, Austin, Texas. Awesome.
