Learn how to film client testimonials that actually sell. Structure interviews around before-and-after: the problem, the transition, the result. Skip generic praise and scripts. Authentic stories like "I thought I'd go out of business, now I'm thriving" convert far better than "Mark did a great job."

Whenever they're shooting a testimonial, you wanna establish, okay, where were you at before we started working together? You know, you wanna create that separation, right? Where they had their former situation, you know, in pain, company not growing, and then what was the transition like, and then talking about that desired situation. And they don't always do that when they just shoot it on their cell phone. They're like, oh, Mark's done a great job. He helps us with our marketing, thanks. That's not as powerful as like, Hey, I was really struggling and I thought, you know, I might be going out of business, which not all stories are that dire, but, and then look at where I'm at today. That's really, you know, the story is the power. It's not like them just saying some words, which I actually had a client literally read off the screen, hey, I've been working with Mark, which I'm like, I can't use that.
