One of the most powerful quotes is that you don't rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems. Here's the goal. I love having spreadsheets and I love having dashboards, but having the printed KPI board at the beginning of every month, especially if you're still in the sales seat and you're taking these sales calls, you should have a board like this, whether you print it or whether you put it onto a whiteboard and create your own. At the beginning of every single month, you say, okay, my goal is to sell this amount of clients and this amount of recurring revenue. And I know I'm gonna need to have this many strategy sessions, this many move forward conversations. And then we track how many of these are we actually doing week over week.
