An agency owner explains why most agencies stay small: they plan instead of act. His mentor Benjamin taught him that daily forward momentum beats comfort, and occasional strategic pauses keep you from burning out or going off track.

I would say action is more important than almost anything. It's like forward momentum. And it's something that I've learned from Benjamin specifically. You know, I'm very used to being comfortable. Like, I, I would have been happy at $20-30K and just like doing the work myself and, you know, cruising right along. Even though I know how to acquire more clients than that, I probably would have just stagnated. I probably would have been in that same position where I was like, yeah, this is good enough. Benjamin is like, Nah, what are we doing today to move things forward? And it's like action in sometimes almost to a fault. If you can, not to rag on you, Benjamin, but it's like, it's forward momentum at all costs. And sometimes like you gotta slow down a little bit, but people, when they slow down, they slow down to a dead standstill and then don't grow, don't move, don't progress. And like, you need both sides of that. Like you need the push and then you need the, a little bit of slow so you don't go off the tracks. But I would say the one thing is like take action. Don't just like think and plan, do some stuff.
