Visit Lowe's or Home Depot at opening time, photograph contractor trucks in the parking lot, and contact the owners for lunch meetings. Do this daily for a month, reaching roughly 300 local tradespeople, and you'll convert two to three into paying clients through genuine relationship-building.

My favorite thing to do that's just like, if you do it, I promise you that if you did this for a month, you will have 3 clients at the end of the month, or you just need to find another career. And it's so simple. We call it the Lowe's strategy. And if you go to Lowe's or Home Depot every day at 7 AM when they open and you sit down the parking truck, all of these trucks come in, they're all your local roofers, plumbers, everyone, and all of them is Bob's Roofing, Dave's Plumbing, blah blah blah's handyman. Write them all down, call them up, say, bro, I saw you at Lowe's. I'm an entrepreneur as well. I'm trying to get into the roofing space. Can I buy you lunch? And by the way, I'm just getting started. But like, that's your local audience. If you can't sell to the guys that go to church with you, bro, like, you gotta, you gotta back up. And so, and if you do that every day for 30 days and you just get 10 people a day, that's 300 people. And if you just build a relationship with those 300 people, like, don't try to sell them, just I just, I want to learn from you. I want to sit down and learn from you. They will want to learn from you as well, and you will be able to sell 2 or 3 people.
