In this vlog, Travis Thomas greets viewers from Florida and frames the week’s activity around returning to the present moment, urging listeners to "fall in love with the now." He shares personal observations about drifting into future‑oriented thoughts during work, then pivots to a summer‑themed challenge: set a short‑term, summer‑specific goal (e.g., a new hobby, a book, a practice), write it down, and devise a concrete plan with tiny daily or weekly actions. He reminds viewers to watch the teaser trailer for his upcoming Entheos class (link in the blog) and invites audience feedback and shared experiences. The tone is conversational, encouraging, and mildly promotional, with an overall enthusiastic and supportive sentiment.

7 Days of Yes. Greetings from Florida. How is everyone doing today? We are celebrating some more beautiful weather and just rolling right into the summer as things are starting to heat up. So how are things heating up with you? This week's activity was all about coming back to the present, coming back to the now. The answer to now is yes. Bringing our attention not from the past, not to the future, of bringing it right back to the present moment. I know I've caught myself and noticed myself doing that numerous times during the week, especially during the work week, when I'm not looking forward to a class or I'm not looking forward to having to do something. So I leave my sense of peace and joy toward being out in a future moment instead of just being in the present moment. So I caught myself doing that a few times this week, and it is very, very helpful. So just again, that idea for me, falling in love with the present moment. Can I fall in love with the present moment? So that's my goal. This week's activity, because it is summer— now I don't know how some of you did with your New Year's resolutions or goals or commitments that you set for yourself, but we're almost halfway through 2014. Crazy! But how are you doing? Did you have some resolutions, some goals, some things that you wanted to work on for 2014, and how are you doing? So regardless of whether any of those fell off the map or maybe you're still kicking butt on one of them, when you think about the summer, the summer is a great time with schedules changing and things like that. I know my wife and kids will be out of town for a couple of months and so it'll be a different environment here in the house. And so what goals, what projects, what new hobbies, what new practice do you want to work on this summer? What book have you been wanting to read? What thing have you been wanting to try? Summer is a great time to set a short-term goal for yourself. So your assignment for this week is to set some time to think about what would you want to do. Go ahead and write it out and then think about a plan. How are you going to actually make this happen? What is something you can do 10 minutes every day, 5 minutes every day, once a week? What are you going to do to make this goal possible? Make it happen. So that's your activity for the week. If you have not visited or checked out at least the teaser trailer for my class on Entheos, the link is in this blog today. Have a wonderful, wonderful yes week, everyone, and I always love hearing from you, so if you got something to share, go ahead and send it my way. Have a great week, everyone. Bye.
