In this brief motivational monologue, the speaker delivers a daily "Moment of Yes" for Monday, April 7th. He revisits the classic "two wolves" analogy—one good, one bad—and reframes it as a decision‑making lens: does a forthcoming choice feed the ego or the soul? He emphasizes that the motivation behind a choice matters more than the choice itself, encouraging listeners to pause, reflect, and ask themselves whether their actions serve personal pride (ego) or deeper purpose (soul). The talk ends with a supportive wish for an awesome week.

Good morning, everyone. Here's your Moment of Yes for Monday, April 7th. Uh, yeah, okay, a little bit nicer, a little springier. Uh, we got some sun out, as you all can see. Um, all right, Moment of Yes for, for Monday. Um, you've all heard the analogy before of the 2 wolves. There's, there's a good, good wolf and a bad wolf in each of us. Which one wins? The one that you decide to feed. So I was thinking about that today, but just a little bit differently, and thinking about a decision or a choice that you're about to make. I think I was thinking in regards to politics, but I think it applies to each of us individually as well. And thinking about, is the decision I'm going to make— is it— does it feed my ego or does it feed my soul? Meaning, you know, what I'm being sort of driven to do, motivated to do right now, is this really about If I do this, it'll make my ego feel good, which, you know, which is fine, but it, it's, it's not always going to lead us down the best path, make the best decisions. Or is the decision I'm about to make going to really feed my soul, feed my purpose, make me feel a deeper sense of fulfillment? Um, and again, it doesn't mean that Ego choices are always bad choices, but it's more the motivation behind the choice which is most important. So if you're wrestling with anything today, um, or this week, uh, you know, can you pause, reflect, get quiet, and ask that question? Is what I'm about to say or do feeding my ego, or is it feeding my soul? There you go. That's your moment of yes for today. Have an awesome week, everyone.
