Good morning, everyone. Happy Monday. This is your Moment of Yes for Monday, August 8th. Greetings from St. Louis, Missouri. That's right. I know I didn't get to a Moment of Yes on Friday. Things got away from me. But we transitioned from Northern Michigan to St. Louis 2 days ago. Woke up yesterday morning knowing that I had a tremendous day of moving Lifting, organizing in our 100-degree heat here in St. Louis. So I knew there was a lot to do. Combine that with, you know, our 10-hour trip through from northern Michigan to St. Louis on Saturday, turned into 12 hours because of some Chicago traffic. Thank you, Chicago. And so, yeah, I would say between those 2 days, between a longer drive and just a ton to do yesterday. I say that knowing I'm jumping on a plane today to go to Richmond for the next couple of days for kind of a few busy days of work and feeling, you know, like not prepared for that. Yes, I'm prepared, but feeling not prepared yesterday because of all the stuff that needs to be done and being in the— so just the theme has been, you know, just like a little bit of so much to do, feeling overwhelmed, how to manage that. And, you know, and again, I noticed myself getting anxious. I noticed myself getting flustered, just overwhelmed. When I get overwhelmed, like, I want to shut down. It's not super helpful. And so what I've been focusing on is kind of 2 things, right? It's just been— it's, we'll call this is the theme for today. Take a breath, take a step. Take a breath, take a step. Which is, and it's not literally, literally, but take a moment and take a few breaths, right? And I, and you know, practicing that nose breathing, which just take a few breaths just to calm things down, slow things down, and then ask yourself, what step, what's the next step I need to take, right? Maybe it's dealing with this box. Maybe it's, it's sitting in traffic and doing nothing. So there's no steps. What is the next step I need to take? So take that breath, take that step, because again, it gets us grounded, it gets us calm, it gets us our composure back, and then it gets us moving in a practical, progressive direction, which is the next step. So there you have it, right? So I'm going to have more opportunities over the next few days, and obviously For every aspect of our life. So, take a breath, take a step. That's your moment of yes for today, buddy. Have an awesome day.
