In this end‑of‑year motivational monologue, the speaker thanks the small but dedicated Patreon community for their support over the past year and a half, reflecting on how the pandemic has highlighted the fragility of life and the importance of living fully in the present. He urges listeners to consider how they showed up in 2021—whether in personal relationships, work, or broader contributions—and to set a concrete intention for how they will show up in 2022, starting tomorrow. The talk blends gratitude, a reminder to focus on today rather than distant financial plans, and a call to action for continued engagement and personal transformation in the new year.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for Friday, December 31st, the last day of 2021. And so there really can't be any other theme as we round out and end the year as just thinking about reflecting on gratitude. If you're watching this, you're here. And first of all, I want to express gratitude to, to actually all of you. You guys are a small But mighty group of followers here on Patreon, and you guys motivate me and inspire me to continue to do these, which has been a year and a half now. A year and a half of doing these 2 to 3 times a week, usually 3, sometimes 2 like this week, and having to be open, having to be open to hopefully living Yes, And personally and individually, but being open to just constantly Um, uh, getting outside myself and, and, and coming here so that hopefully I can humbly share something that is meaningful to you guys. So thank you so much. I'm excited about 2022, uh, continuing to do this. If you know anyone who wants to, uh, jump on the Patreon, hey, send them along. But I want to express a ton of gratitude for you all here today. I think if the pandemic continues to teach us Anything. It's the fragility, right? The fragility of life, the fragility of what we feel is controllable or within our control, which, as we realize, that it's not much, right? You know, we can control our thoughts, we control our responses. And as many of us have experienced loss, and heartache. It's during this time that I think in a beautiful way, in a powerful way, and hopefully a transforming way, it's bringing us each more present. Present to today, present to the moment, present to the opportunity that we have right here, right now. Not what, you know, how our 401 plan has been impacted or how our savings has been impacted and how we're going to be impacted 20 or 30 years from now. It's like, no, we're living for today. And we're living for today because we're reminded how precious and how special life is today. Yes, it's great to set goals and great to have, hey, my retirement, I want it to look like this. But most of us know, and we all know that, hey, Yeah, that planning's fine, but the real life is right now. The real living is going on right now. And to bring our full purpose and authenticity to this present moment for ourselves and for those around us, knowing that no day is guaranteed. Not tomorrow, just today, just right here, right now. So what are you bringing to it? What are you bringing to it? Reflect on what you brought to 2021. all the beautiful things you brought to 2021, how you showed up for people, how you showed up for companies, how you showed up for relationships. And ask yourself the question as we roll the calendar into 2022 tomorrow, how do you want to show up tomorrow? How do you want to show up for the people in your lives? And starting tomorrow, not like, oh, 6 months from now, like tomorrow, how are you going to show up in a way that is More powerful, more transformative. So there you have it. That's your last moment of yes for 2021. I'll see you guys on Monday, raring, ready to go. Let's do this. Let's make this the best year of our lives and have the best impact we can on those around us. Have an awesome Happy New Year, everybody.
