In this brief morning motivational video, the speaker greets viewers and shares his recent early‑morning Zoom talk experience before introducing today’s theme: National Random Acts of Kindness Day (February 17). He urges the audience to perform a simple act of kindness, regardless of location, and illustrates the power of perspective with a humorous anecdote about twin boys—one perpetually optimistic, the other perpetually negative. The story shows that even in a perfect environment the negative twin finds a reason to be upset, while the optimistic twin discovers a hidden pony in a room full of manure. The speaker uses this parable to encourage listeners to look for the “pony” (positive opportunity) in challenging situations and to spread kindness. He closes with a call to bring “pony love” to others through random acts of kindness.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for Wednesday, February 17th. Good morning. You know it's an early morning when I've already given a Zoom talk. Yes, 6:30 this morning. Actually, 6:20 this morning, I gave a Zoom talk for a high school up in Pennsylvania. And it was a 30-minute talk before they started classes at 7 AM. That's an early talk. That is an early talk. So, that's not what our moment of yes is today. It's an easy moment of yes because today is National Random Acts of Kindness Day. How cool is that? You guys know what a big fan I am of random acts of kindness. We have Rack Friday in November. So today, no matter where you are, no matter what you're doing, today is do one random act of kindness. If you're in the Northeast or the Midwest or if you're in Texas, Can you, you know, maybe shovel someone's sidewalk, do something that warms up someone's day, no pun intended? If you're down here in Florida, I think the only warm spot in the country, there's plenty that you can do because it's just a normal day down here in South Florida. And I wanted to share this really cool story that a friend of mine told me this morning at 6:30 in regards to How we look at life and how we approach things. And he said there were twins, 2 twin boys, and one was always positive about everything and one was always negative about everything. They're like, they couldn't understand, you know, nature and nurture. They're raised in the same environment. Why one was always positive, why one was always negative. So they took the negative one and they put him in a room that was filled with all the world's best toys. And they put him in there and sure enough, in the room, he's got all these great toys and he starts breaking them and throwing them against the wall because he was upset that one toy he was looking for wasn't there, right? So even in the perfect room, he found the reason to be negative. They took the twin that's always positive and they put him in a room and in the room there was manure all over the floor. It stunk. It was gross, right? And there was manure everywhere. And they went in there and sure enough, he's all excited and he's happy and he's giddy. And they're like, what are you so excited about? And he's like, clearly there's a pony around here somewhere. So I just love that story. Obviously it didn't happen, but I love that story is that the more shit gets— we're surrounded with. We can look at it as a negative, or we can look at it as there must be a pony around here somewhere. That's your moment of yes for today. Go out there and bring a little pony love to someone with a random act of kindness. Have an awesome day, everybody.
