In this short motivational video, the speaker greets viewers with a "Moment of Yes" for Monday, January 10th. He shares his upcoming travel itinerary (leaving Florida, heading to Tampa, then Phoenix, with future stops in Columbus, Ontario, and Minneapolis) and mentions that he will continue posting from hotel rooms while on the road. He reflects on post‑holiday habits of heavy consumption—movies, treats, entertainment—and lists several films he enjoyed (Don’t Look Up, 14 Peaks, The Social Dilemma, Tick, Tick… Boom!). The core message is a reminder to balance consumption and creation: we are built to both take in information/energy and output it through work, exercise, or creative effort. He urges viewers to assess where they stand on this spectrum, to either consume more to recharge or shift toward creation, and invites them to share their outcomes. He also teases a future "Yes and Challenge" video that will build on this idea. The tone is conversational and encouraging, with a supportive, reflective sentiment.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your Moment of Yes for Monday, January 10th. Let me see, today is my last day in Florida before heading to Tampa, and then Tampa to Phoenix for the next week and change. And then it gets cold. Columbus, Ontario, Minneapolis. Brrr. All right, so here we go. Next 3 weeks, I'm gonna be on the road, but you'll still be getting me from whatever hotel room of choice for the next, for the next couple of weeks. So your moment of yes for today. So if you're like me, you've gone through the holidays, you've been doing a lot of consumption, you've been consuming a lot, maybe consuming extra treats, extra desserts, maybe consuming a lot of entertainment. All of this totally okay because this is kind of like when you get rest and you get breaks, it's okay to do this kind of thing. Just for the record, consumption-wise, movies Movies over break. Don't Look Up, really good. 14 Peaks, amazing. Let me see, we watched The Social Dilemma again, worth a rewatch. And Tick, Tick... Boom! Really, really good. All right. So, we consume all these different things, books, information, and it's okay. But if all we ever do is consume, right? We— it's kind of— we become overly consumed. Too much information, too much stuff that we're bringing in. We're built as people, as living things, to consume and create, to create and consume. The reason we take in information is so that we can do something with it. The reason that we take in food and energy is so that we can output it through exercise, through effort, through work, right? So We never want to be on one extreme of the spectrum. If you are constantly doing, doing, doing, doing, doing, thinking, thinking, thinking, thinking, working, working, working, working, and you're not taking time to, to take stuff in that recharges your batteries, that's one extreme. The other extreme is if you are consuming, consuming, consuming, consuming, consuming, and not outputting anything, that's also unhealthy and unsafe as well. So we always want to— it's a healthy question. So what your moment of yes for today is, is just to notice where you are today. Are you, are you in balance from a consumption, consumption-creation standpoint, or are you tilting too far to the edge and you need to maybe consume a little bit more, or you need to stop consuming and put that energy into some sort of creation? It's a good healthy question to ask ourselves. And if you end up creating something, awesome. I want to hear about it. If you end up consuming something, yeah, you can let me know that as well. For those of you who get the Yes, And Challenge, I'm going to be building off of this idea, but you'll see me in a different video. That's your moment of yes for today, everybody. Have an awesome day. Have an awesome day.
