Good morning, everyone. Here is your Moment of Yes for Friday, January 22nd. Happy Friday, everyone. So here we go. Today's last Moment of Yes for the week. Now, I have been doing different mental and leadership sessions here with the team for the last few weeks, and Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, keeps popping up. I'm a big fan of his. He's 37. And he just had probably the greatest year of his career. He's gonna be the MVP again, and the team drafted his replacement a year ago. And so it's been interesting to notice how he's talked about his own internal sort of mental process for this. And he's always spoken really openly about his spirituality, about his pursuit for a higher power, higher understanding and meditation and all this different stuff. And so he's spoken openly about this year more than any other year how he's just really focused on gratitude, enjoying the game, staying in the moment, and building mindfulness practices. And so they won this past weekend. They host the NFC Championship Game this Sunday in Green Bay for a chance to go to the Super Bowl. And a reporter asked him after the game they won this weekend, about the future. Hey Aaron, what about the future? How are you thinking about that? And here was his response. This is what I shared with the team in our session last night. He says, I'm always trying— excuse me— I'm always just trying to stay present, especially this year as much as anything, and enjoy the moments. I hope there's more opportunities, but I don't know. I mean, I really don't. That stuff is out of my control. My future is a beautiful mystery, I think. The present is such a gift to be able to stay in the moment and to have gratitude for being in this situation again and being with the guys and having fans in our stadium and maybe snow in an NFC Championship game. I'm going to enjoy these moments for sure and just not worry about what happens down the line. So there's so much goodness in that statement from staying present, enjoying the moments, staying in the moment. Gratitude for everything that is happening despite so much that we could have ingratitude for. But my favorite line, you probably noticed it, is that he refers to his future as a beautiful mystery. He goes, it's a beautiful mystery, I think. What a great approach. That's our idea for today. The uncertainty in our life, the uncertainty in our world, Can we view it as a beautiful mystery? We can't control it, as he mentions. We can never control what happens to us. We don't know what's going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month, next year. There's so much uncertainty just swirling, swirling, swirling, swirling around us. What if we just took care of today, this moment, and just viewed everything in front of us as a beautiful mystery? Why is it beautiful? Because when you show up present, when you show up your best, regardless of what happens, it's going to be beautiful because that's the way that you're showing up. So there you have it. That's your moment of yes for today, everyone. Have a great day. I tried to finish before the sneeze. God bless me.
