In this short motivational video, the speaker recounts a stressful morning dealing with a suspended Florida driver's license and the difficulty of navigating the DMV. He describes the rising sense of helplessness and frustration, then shifts to how he regains composure by grounding himself through personal supports: his partner, spirituality, physical practices, and social connection (meeting friends for coffee). He encourages viewers to identify and lean on their own grounding sources as they start the new week, framing this as their "moment of yes"—a prompt to take intentional action toward stability amid uncertainty.

Good morning, everyone. Here's your moment of yes for Monday, January 27th, last Monday of the month. We've almost got one month in the books here. All right, so I started the morning at the DMV. That didn't work. Been on the phone with Florida DMV for an hour, losing my mind because feeling helpless. So basically found out that my license had been suspended Um, in Florida, uh, because the cars are no longer insured in Florida. Um, and so my license has been suspended since July. You know, things that, uh, it's not always easy to get someone on the phone to piece through all these things. And I noticed my, my helpless meter going through the roof as I'm waiting to be arrested. So noticing So super, super frustrating morning. Um, and then just like recognizing, like, all right, how do I get grounded? What do I need to do to get grounded here? Grounded out of the negativity, grounded with a sense of like, all right, just relax. Like, let's, let's figure this out. Um, Hollister was really helpful with that, as she always is. Yeah. Um, and just finally getting someone on the phone who could piece everything together, what had happened and all these different things, and then could move to solutions. But then I was like, I was like, oh, okay, just take a breath. I was just needing that grounding, right? This— just when you feel like you're helpless and it's like, I just, I don't even know what to do right now because— and I can't even get a hold of— um, and I was like, all right, this is, this is a Monday and what a great way to start the week. So, you know, just recognizing like, all right, when I'm floundering and flailing, um, what grounds me? Right? I have a partner that grounds me. I have a spirituality that grounds me. I have physical things that I can do that ground me. And so, for each of us, as we start a new week, as we end the first month, as, yeah, there's uncertainty and chaos going on around us, to keep coming back to what grounds us. Connection grounds me. I was able to sneak over and get coffee with the guys that I meet with once a month. That grounds me, that fills me up. So, your moment of yes for today is connecting with those things that ground you even when you're feeling, you know, disconnected, uncertain, helpless. So, yeah. What do you need to do today? Or what do you need to do to keep yourself grounded? That's your moment of yes for today. Have an awesome week, everybody.
