In this brief solo video, the speaker delivers his daily "Moment of Yes" for Thursday, January 9th, 2025. He reflects on how the year might evolve for him and uses a personal anecdote about a chance encounter with author Bob Burg—whom he once met for lunch in Jupiter, Florida—to illustrate the power of paying attention to fleeting thoughts and being open to unexpected connections. The story culminates in a later, surprising sighting of Burg on a beach in Brooklyn, reinforcing the speaker’s point that consciousness holds more synchronicities than we realize. He closes by urging listeners to practice two simple habits: notice when thoughts arise and stay open to the possibilities they may reveal. The tone is conversational and reflective, with an encouraging, optimistic sentiment.

Good morning, everyone. Here's your moment of yes for Thursday, January 9th. All right, we're already the 9th. Everybody's home safely. 2 cars on 2 different days. Everyone made it home. But here we go. 2025. How's your word going? All right, I've been asking myself a lot these last few days, what would it look like to evolve this year in this situation? So I've been having a lot of fun with that. Your moment of yes for Today is on the idea of, I guess, pay attention. Notice when thoughts show up. I had a great experience down in Jupiter, and I was trying to go to bed one night, and I was kind of in that, I don't know, beta waves, theta waves state of your thoughts kind of going random. And I was remembering having a lunch in Jupiter with a guy. His name is Bob Burg. He's an author. He wrote The Go-Giver, great book. And I read it, you know, close to 20 years ago, and I found out he was in Jupiter. So I connected, we had lunch. It's the only time I've been in contact with him. And, uh, I was laying in bed and, uh, in Jupiter, I was like, huh, I wonder what happened to Bob. Is Bob still with us? Is he still in Jupiter? What's going on? Um, does he have any new books? Um, and then I just kind of fell asleep. You know, fast forward to 2 days later, um, Hollister and I are sitting outside of Brooklyn Water Bagel After walking Mako at the beach and this guy goes walking by and I'm like, Bob? And he looks at me, I said, Bob Berg? And he goes, yeah. I was like, we had lunch about 20 years ago. Weird, right? When those things happen, I know it's happened to all of us, I just always go to, there's so much more going on in our consciousness and in our thoughts. Than we know, than we understand, that we can even figure out. That's okay. I think it's supposed to be that way. But pay attention, right? Pay attention when things— when we have thoughts. Be open to connection. Be open. So, more than anything today on January 9th, it's 2 things: pay attention and be open. I don't know what that means necessarily, but I think it's worth sharing. That's your moment of yes for today. Have an awesome day, everybody. Bye.
