In this brief motivational video recorded in Austin on June 10, 2022, the speaker opens with a shout‑out to his friend Frank Licari, who is filming season three of the Apple TV series The Chosen. He then describes the iconic Congress Avenue “Bat Bridge,” where millions of Mexican free‑tailed bats emerge each evening at dusk, creating a black wave across the sky. Using this natural spectacle, he draws a metaphor about an inner, intuitive intelligence that knows when to act, stay, or simply be—contrasting it with purely intellectual or mathematical decision‑making. He urges listeners to emulate the bats’ effortless knowing as their “Moment of Yes,” encouraging them to trust their heart‑space or spiritual intuition as they head into the weekend.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your Moment of Yes for Friday, June 10th, from Austin. It is game day today, our 3rd of 4 games here this evening here in Austin. I was hoping to connect with our man Frank, Frank Licari, who is actually currently up in Dallas. So I'm in Austin, he's in Dallas. We're just a couple of hours away. He is filming the TV series The Chosen, and he sent a picture of him It's the story, the kind of the life of Jesus. And it's a great show on Apple. And Frank's in season 3, and he sent me this awesome picture with him around Jesus. Yeah, giving Jesus a hug. How awesome is that? How many of you have given Jesus a hug? One person. Frank. All right, so he and I are not going to be able to connect though, but I wanted to give Frank a shout out because good friend, and he's on the Patreon as well. So, all right, here we go. Moment of Yes for Friday, rolling into the weekend. So right outside of our hotel here on the river that runs through Austin, there's a couple of bridges, but the bridge that we're right next to, uh, it's, uh, the road is Congress. So Congress goes over this bridge, and this bridge is called the Bat Bridge. And, uh, the, uh, um, They used to have these bat stations here. This gentleman had these bat stations here. And then when they rebuilt this bridge here over Congress, they intentionally cut in these slats in the bottom of the bridge for where bats would come and they would hang out during the day. So now we are in— these are Mexican bats. We are in migrating season. And so from now until the end of August, Every evening at dusk, at sundown, every evening, hundreds of people, if not more, gather at the bridge. And we went down there last night. You gather at the bridge, on top of the bridge or under the bridge, and you start to hear the bats. You start to hear the bats. And then kind of all at once, at, at a particular time, they all come flowing out between these cracks that are built into the bridge. They all come flowing out and then they all head the same direction and they make this black wave across the sky. You would think it was like birds, but they're bats. And there is probably a couple hundred thousand of them right now. By the end of the summer, there can be like 1.5 million bats who are here. And obviously they're a huge part of the ecosystem. It was just this cool natural wonder to to take in last night because we're all talking. We're like, who decides, right? Is it one bat? Like, you know what, how does it happen? And, and, and they know, right? They just know, right? Based on an inner intelligence, an inner feeling. They know. We know that it's not, it's not this mathematical, uh, uh, geyser collaborating. No, they know. They know inside. And they all know. And I was just appreciating just the beauty, the beauty of that intelligence, of that deeper, deeper intelligence. Not an intellectual intelligence, an intuitive, heart-space, spiritual intelligence. An intelligence that knows. It just knows. It knows the right time to move. It knows the right time to stay. It knows the right time to be. It just knows. And so today, Friday, be like the bats, right? This is our Batman and Batwoman moment of yes, to allow yourself to just know. Not think it, but be it and feel it. That's your moment of yes for today, everybody. Have an awesome weekend. Bye.
