In this short motivational video, the speaker delivers a "Moment of Yes" for Monday, June 22, offering a brief personal update about moving, camp duties, and upcoming travel to Northern Michigan. He reflects on the overwhelming list of tasks involved in moving and storage, then introduces the concept of "Win Today" from Josh Liffrak’s new book, which emphasizes focusing on the present day’s priorities (W‑I‑N: What’s Important Now). Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for Monday, June 22nd. Happy belated fathers to all you fathers out there. Hope you had a great day. Your moment of yes for today is—I don't know if you can see me. There's a lodge right there. I'm at camp. The boys are here as counselors. Hollister's been here for the last few weeks, kind of as a leadership counselor. We head back tomorrow. Um, phase 2 of 3 of moving is done. Um, my, uh, Trinity's boyfriend Bryce and I moved pretty much all of our furniture except a few things into storage 2 days ago. And so Hollister and I will head back to St. Louis tomorrow, and we've got until Monday to empty out the apartment and hit the road for Northern Michigan. So there's light at the end of the tunnel. Uh, so which reminds me, The moment of yes forward today is I was driving on Saturday morning to, uh, to go pick up the moving truck, the U-Haul, um, and was thinking about kind of everything that needed to be done that day, but everything that needs to be done in the, the days forward. And, you know, I've already taken a trip to Florida and back with stuff, and now putting stuff in storage and then finishing things up. And like, you know, And life doesn't stop. We all know that. And so, getting flooded with, you know, everything that needs to get done. And as I was driving to get the rental car, I was hanging out with Josh Liffrak the other day, and who just has a new book that came out a few weeks ago called Win Today. And it's— he talks about his time with the 2016 Chicago Cubs as their mental conditioning coach-director and the idea of win today. And so, I'm like, all I have to do is focus on today. I just got to win today. What's winning today look like? Having a good move into storage, you know, taking care of like knocking over those dominoes today and then getting to camp, right? Win today. That's all I have to do. I don't have to focus on tomorrow, the next day, phase 3 of the move. Just win today. So I ended up sending Josh a memo saying, hey brother, just thinking about you because I'm just— your message is helping me focus on today. Win today. So whatever you have on your schedule, uh, busy schedule, Things that are coming, they're coming, they're coming. The thing that brings us a sense of peace and clarity is what do I need to do today? What do I need to do right now? W-I-N. What's important now? And that idea of just win today. All I have to do is win today. Take care of what needs to be taken care of today, and tomorrow I can get up and do it all over again. So that's it. That's your message for today. Win today. Let's win today, and then Tuesday, and then Wednesday, and then Thursday, and then Friday, and then Sunday, and then we'll win next week as well. Have an awesome week, everyone. That's your moment of yes.
