In this brief motivational address, the speaker greets the team on travel day (March 23) as they depart from Houston to Mexico City for a match against Mexico at the Estadio Azteca. He outlines the travel itinerary, emphasizes that the team will stick to the routines and processes that have carried them through qualification, and warns against getting distracted by external noise. Citing Trevor Moise’s mantra “starve the noise, feed the focus,” he urges the players to ignore distractions, concentrate on the habits and actions that produce results, and find purpose and peace in their preparation. He closes by promising a follow‑up check‑in from Mexico City and wishes everyone an awesome day.

Good morning, everyone. Here's your moment of yes for Wednesday, March 23rd. It is travel day. We're in the, uh, the travel whites. Uh, we're getting ready to head to the airport, um, from Houston. Houston to Mexico City. Arrive in Mexico City, uh, get settled in the airport, have our training tonight. Uh, tomorrow's game day. Game day 1 as we play Mexico in Azteca. stadium tomorrow night with 100,000 of our closest Mexican friends cheering us on. So here we go. Obviously, there's a lot of noise around the team. There's a sense of pressure, but most of that is external. When we think about what the vibe is and what the feeling is inside this group and inside this team is sort of a clear sense of what's on the line, but also a sense of sticking to what we've been doing all throughout this qualification. So then the key, the thing that we're all working on is And it reminds me of one of Trevor Moise's ideas from his book is starve the noise, feed the focus, right? It's one of the mantras he had, I think, with Alabama or Georgia, which is starve the noise, feed the focus, right? There's a lot of noise that if you feed it, it's gonna take on an energy of its own. If you starve it, if you ignore it, if you If you don't give it that energy, focus, attention, right? It has no power. It goes away. And instead, you end up feeding your focus, right? Focusing on the things, the actions, the behaviors, the habits, the routines, the things that lead to the results. So for you today, what do you need to starve? What noise do you need to starve? What noise do you need to starve? And instead feed the focus. What can you focus on today to be effective, to have a sense of purpose, to have a sense of peace, right? Let's feed that focus today. All right, next time I check in with you guys— was that Friday? Friday morning— will be from Mexico City, and hopefully with some good news. That's your Moment of Yes for today, everybody. Have an awesome day.
