In this brief motivational monologue, the speaker greets listeners from Orlando and outlines the team’s current situation ahead of a crucial World Cup qualifying match. He reports a recent home victory over Panama, placing the team on the cusp of qualification, and emphasizes that despite favorable statistics, the mindset must remain focused and the work unfinished. The speaker recounts recent health setbacks—widespread food poisoning among players and staff, and his own mild stomach issues and a strained back—yet stresses that personal discomfort should not distract from the task at hand. He advocates an action‑oriented mindset: concentrate on what can be done now, stay present, and ignore negative thoughts or feelings. The talk concludes with a reminder of the upcoming travel to Costa Rica, a wish for a good weekend, and an encouraging “moment of yes” for the new week.

Good morning. Here is your moment of yes for Monday, March 28th. Hello everyone from Orlando. We're here in Orlando for for half a day and then heading down to to Costa Rica later today. One more game to go. We won our game yesterday at home against Panama. We are now on the cusp going into our last game, cusp of the World Cup. Just have to go down there and compete, and then hopefully that's enough to move us on. It should be at this point, and, but there's work to be done. So even though mathematically, statistically, it looks good for us, I think that the mindset and the mentality is that we're not done. There's still work to be done, and our goal is to go out, is to go down there and get a win. So So that's our focus right now. It has been an interesting couple of days from leaving Mexico. A lot of the group, players, staff came down with some food poisoning. I got it in sort of one of the milder cases with my stomach. I'm still dealing with it a little bit, but super mild compared to a lot of the people. And so I'm still dealing with also a strained back that I did in Mexico. And so just noticing, right, noticing in myself not feeling 100% physically, as well as, you know, I guess, you know, body physically and body physically, 2 things not feeling great. But also recognizing that with the team and with the focus and with all of the different sort of adversity and challenges that we've been dealing with, the focus is always on the task at hand. And I think that's applicable to each of us, to all of us, is no matter what we're dealing with on a day-to-day basis, right? The temptation is to get frustrated or discouraged with the things that are causing adversity, which take us away from the task at hand, right? Again, I've talked about before, we wanna focus on— we don't wanna focus on the distraction. Instead, we wanna focus on the action, right? When we focus on the action, it doesn't matter How we feel. It doesn't matter about the circumstances around us. It keeps our mindset on what we're actually doing. And when we focus on what we're doing, we can get the job done and not allow our thoughts, as far as what we think about what we're doing, or the possibilities of what could go wrong, or how I'm feeling, right? That whole idea of how, you know, what does how you feel have to do with it? And so when we focus on the actions, it allows us to just stay focused and stay present and stay in the moment. So that's what I'm doing today. Again, it's a big travel day, a lot to get done, not feeling fantastic, but when I focus on what needs to be done, it helps me stay grounded and stay centered. So here we go. This is, you know, coming to the end, this part of a big journey with hopefully bigger things to come. But moment to moment, day by day, action by action. I hope you guys had an awesome weekend and we can take that into this new week. That's your moment of yes for today. Have an awesome day, everybody.
