In this short YouTube episode recorded in St. Louis, the host greets listeners and gives a shout‑out to Patreon supporter Matt Miller. He references recent viral commencement speeches, especially Abby Wambach’s, and recounts a personal anecdote about a high‑school graduation address that was cancelled for unrelated reasons. The core of the segment is a prompt: if listeners were asked to give a commencement address today, what single core message would they share? He outlines his own concise message—focusing on saying “yes,” living in the moment, and not being attached to outcomes. He then asks the audience to spend 60 seconds reflecting on their own one‑message takeaway, to carry that inspiration through the day and weekend, and optionally share it with him. The episode ends with a friendly sign‑off and a reminder to return on Monday.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for Friday, May 20th. Still in St. Louis. Shout out to our man Matt Miller here on Patreon. Matt Miller, one of the best humans on the planet. Got a chance to meet him for lunch yesterday. A lot of fun. So shout out to Matt, my brother. Love you, man. All right. So the first 2 Patreons this week, we've been talking about Abby Wambach's graduation address that she gave a few weeks ago. It's that season, right? You're going to start to see these different clips popping up viral, all these famous people giving commencement addresses. A few years ago, I was supposed to give a high school commencement address, but at the last minute they changed it because of, um, some reasons that aren't important. It had nothing to do with me. I wasn't getting canceled. It had nothing to do with me. It was about the other person. Anyway, all that to say, If you were being asked today to give a commencement address, what is your main message? Obviously with mine, it's pretty simple. I would probably work the yes and mantra into how to live that, how to move forward as a graduate, how to be more focused on what you're doing compared to where you're going. And focusing on the moment and the journey compared to being attached to an outcome. Yeah, that would probably be mine in a nutshell. What would your message be? Right? You have wisdom. We all have wisdom. And sometimes it's going to be asked to be shared, maybe in something super public like a commencement address, or just in a personal way. What would that one message be? What would that one idea be? That you would want to share with others that's been most important to you about your life? I know something's coming to mind right now as I talk about this for you. Now sit for 60 seconds. That's your assignment today. Your moment of yes for today is to sit for 60 seconds after this and think about what that one message would be that you would want to share. And then I just want you to live it today. You've probably already been living it, but just carry that inspiration and that idea into your day today and into the weekend. So your moment of yes for today is you giving yourself your moment of yes based on what that inspiration would be. And there you have it. And if you want to be super awesome, you can share with me a text or whatever, What your message would be. Yeah, love it. Awesome, guys. Have an awesome weekend. I'll see you on Monday back in Jupiter. Peace. Peace.
