In this motivational monologue recorded at the Lord's Place in West Palm Beach, the speaker welcomes viewers to the start of a holiday week, highlighting a large community bag drop-off effort involving over 210 bags. He then shifts focus to his "Moment of Yes" theme, urging listeners to abandon unproductive counterfactual thinking—what he calls the "imagine game"—and instead appreciate the multitude of correct choices that have led them to where they are now. Using an anecdote about an athlete with an unconventional path to a national team, he illustrates that each person's journey is uniquely perfect. The speaker emphasizes presence, gratitude, and compassion as guiding attitudes for the week ahead, concluding with a brief sign‑off.

Good morning everyone, happy Monday. Here is your moment of yes. It is a big beginning of a holiday week, and so hopefully everyone is keeping their peace, keeping their calm, their patience, their compassion, spreading some joy. As you can see behind me, I just got to the Lord's Place down here in West Palm Beach. We are getting ready to finally make our big bag drop-off. This is my little car that's jam-packed, and then Our little SUV is packed, and then we have a third car that's coming that's packed. I think we're at like 210 bags plus. So super pumped about that. But that's not your moment of yes for today. So have you ever played like the imagine game where someone says, imagine if I had started working out when I was 16, or imagine if I had moved to LA instead of moving to Boston, and you do this whole imagine what would have happened if? And typically when we do that, it's not because we're actually appreciating where we are. We're thinking how better things could have been if I had only done X. And the reason that came up was I was having a conversation a few weeks ago with another coach, and we were talking about a particular player, and his journey to the national team was a very unconventional journey to the national team. And the coach said to me, imagine what would have happened had he not taken this path, assuming that it would have been a quicker journey to the national team. And I said, Well, he's here. It kind of feels like he picked the perfect journey. And I think that's true. Like, wherever we are, whatever we're doing, if you're watching this, I'm going to guess that you're for the most part healthy. I don't know how happy you are, but you're alive, you're breathing, you're here. And we can imagine what different paths would have looked like if we had the impossible foresight to make certain decisions, which none of us have. And ponder if every decision I made was perfect and I knew how every outcome was going to come. Imagine what that— but no one can do that. You're here. You've made the right choices because you're here, and the journey that you're on is perfect because you're here. And imagine— yeah, you can imagine for fun and play a game, but that's not right. It's pointless. It's fruitless. You're here. Look at all the choices that you made that worked out right. Because you're here. Imagine that. Imagine the thousands and millions of correct choices you've made to still be watching this video. Imagine that. That's more important. That's your moment of yes for today. Imagine that. Have a great week, everybody. I'll see you on Wednesday.
