Good morning, everyone. Here is your Moment of Yes for Monday, February 1st. Can you believe it? We've made it to February and I've made it to being the last morning in this hotel room. I'm gonna miss you. I'm gonna miss you, hotel room, but not as much as I'm excited to see my family and be back in my dad role and husband role for the next month and a half. So here's your Moment of Yes for today. I noticed recently that if you take the word passion, right, we all want to have passion in our lives, passion with our family, Romantic passion. Hmm? No? No? Passion for our career. Just passion in life. We want to bring passion to it. When I think of passion, I think of, you know, it's emotional, it's intense, and we tend to associate a lot of joy with it. But the word passion is actually Latin meaning a willingness to suffer. How about that? How cool is that? A willingness to suffer. So when you are passionate, you love something so much that you are willing to suffer for it. That's what true love is, right? That's that selfless, humble, painful love that it's not about happiness, it's about joy, right? There's a difference between happiness and joy. You know, happy is like, oh, I'm happy because this good thing is happening. Joy is the fulfillment that comes from committing passionately to something and knowing that there's a lot of heartache and pain that comes along the way. But it also— there's that beautiful, beautiful joy that happens in that. So to love someone that you lose, to work for something that you don't achieve, that's passion. Because you're doing it for something bigger than the outcome. You're doing it for The joy and the love of committing to it. That's passion. That's that willingness to suffer. So your moment of yes for today is, what are you passionate about? And are you okay suffering for it? Or are you stopping because of the pain? If not, keep going. It's your passion. You are willing to suffer and keep moving through it because joy, good or bad outcome, is always the result. That's your moment of yes for today, February 1st. Have an awesome day, everybody.
