In this brief motivational address delivered in Qatar ahead of the first World Cup match, the speaker (likely a coach or team leader) recaps a successful scrimmage and reminds the audience that the opening game is approaching quickly. He introduces a decision‑making question from James Clear’s recent newsletter, asking whether one is at a stage of needing more information or ready to act on existing information. Using a river metaphor, he explains the two sides of the dilemma—analysis paralysis versus premature action—and references Einstein’s quote about repeating the same behavior expecting different results. He urges listeners to reflect on their current situation, choose the appropriate side of the river, and apply that choice over the weekend, ending with an enthusiastic call‑to‑action for game day.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for Friday, November 18th. Been here almost a week now in Qatar. We had a scrimmage yesterday that went well. Our first first game of the World Cup is is Monday, so it's it's it's creeping up pat creeping up fast. So here we go. Here's your moment of yes for the weekend as you roll into the weekend. James Clear. the author of Atomic Habits. I get his newsletter. And, he posed a question in his most recent newsletter when it comes to maybe where you are with a project, a life decision, a work decision, something that you've been sort of wrestling with or pondering with. And, the question is, are you at a stage where you need to get more information or are you at a stage where you have the information and you need to take action? Right. Again, it's kind of, I love to look at things like a river where, you know, there's always sort of those 2 sides and it doesn't, we're always kind of in a different spot. And so it's kind of evaluating and thinking about where am I right now with this current situation? So if I'm in the river, am I on the side that has a ton of information? And now what is needed is to put that information into action. Right? It's that whole— what's the quote about analysis by paralysis, right? Sometimes we cannot take action because we have too much information or we just don't feel like we can take action. So one side of that river is, right, do I have too much information? I need to take action. And sometimes it's like, okay, have I been Doing too much, I need to pause and get more information. Kind of the Einstein insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. So, where are you today? So, what comes to mind when you think about something that you've been thinking about or pondering? And then asking the question, with this particular issue, do I need to get more information or do I need to take more action? And as you roll into the weekend, whichever one comes up, do it while you enjoy that weekend. Awesome, everybody. Have a great moment of yes. I'll see you on Monday. Next time I see you, it's going to be game day. It's going to be go time. Let's go.
