In this brief, upbeat video recorded on Friday, November 29th, the speaker announces the community event “Rack Friday,” the 11th annual celebration of random acts of kindness held the day after Thanksgiving. Participants gather at a local coffee shop to write thank‑you notes before spreading kindness throughout the city. The speaker encourages viewers to share their deeds on social media using the hashtag #RackFriday24 and suggests simple, low‑effort actions—holding doors, offering parking spots, buying coffee, shoveling sidewalks—to transform the commercial focus of Black Friday into a day of generosity. The message concludes with a friendly “moment of yes,” wishing everyone an awesome day.

We're celebrating random acts of kindness all day. If you want to do anything and post it, just share #RackFriday24. We are gathering here at a local coffee shop this morning to, uh, to write, uh, thank you notes, thank you cards, and then we're gonna go out in the city and start doing some racks. And so Again, the idea was to transform today away from all the crazy commercialism of Black Friday into dedicating to— what a great way post-Thanksgiving to jump into the rest of the holidays by doing random acts of kindness. So that's it, short and sweet. This is year 11. Hopefully you can jump out, even if you do one thing, hold the door for someone, give someone your parking spot, buy the order in the drive-through line behind you, buy someone a coffee. Anything, it's all good. Have a great day, everybody. Hey, it's snowing in parts of the country, you know, go shovel off someone's walk. There you go, that's a big rock. Have an awesome day, everybody. That's your moment of yes.
