In this short video, the speaker (SPEAKER A) delivers a weekly "moment of yes" segment for Friday, October 28th. Inspired by a text from his friend Matt Miller that asks, "what's your highlight of the week?", the speaker explains how this simple prompt encourages a pause for reflection and gratitude. He shares personal highlights from the past week— a dinner with friends, time spent driving his sons, and a road‑trip with the SLU men’s soccer team that resulted in a big win— and notes the broader benefit of working from home with his wife. He invites listeners to consider their own weekly highlights, promising that weekend highlights will follow, and ends with an upbeat wish for a great weekend.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for Friday, October 28th. Thanksgiving— not Thanksgiving, Halloween weekend. That's right. I'm dressed today as a performance coach. Yep. Pulling that costume off once again. All right. Your moment of yes for today comes to you compliments of my man, Matt Miller, who Sends me a text every week, and that text is, hey brother, what's your highlight of the week? So I got that text this morning, and I'm like, my highlight for the week is you texting me that so that I can use that as today's moment of yes. Because he sends that every week, and it forces me to pause, reflect back on the week, and go, yeah, like, what are you grateful for? Like, what's been a cool highlight? of the week. And the simple act of doing that is powerful because it's so easy to forget all the cool things that happened that week, you know. And they're usually pretty small stuff, you know. Trinity and her boyfriend coming over for dinner the other night, you know, being able to, you know, take the boys driving— not really a highlight— spending time with them, you know, eating dinner, you know, taking them out, just the little stuff. Uh, for me last week, getting to travel with the, the SLU men's soccer team on a road trip to Dayton and back, and for them to have such a huge win on the road, you know, a 6-hour bus ride home. Uh, uh, so lots of, lots of cool highlights, um, lots to be grateful for. Um, and so, yeah, um, you know, it's nice being able to work from home with your wife and have that flexibility. And so tons to be grateful for. I know that's not a highlight, but kind of that's the idea. What is your highlight of the week? So stop, pause, reflect. What's your highlight of the week? And as you roll into the weekend, know that you're going to have a highlight from your weekend as well. That's your moment of yes for today, everybody. Have an awesome, awesome weekend. Thanks, Matt Miller.
