In this short motivational video titled “Moment of Yes – September 15,” the speaker reflects on the recent peaceful passing of his father, expressing gratitude for being able to be present with his family during the final moments. He highlights the supportive presence of his brother and a childhood friend who is a minister, describing the friend’s arrival as a “beam of light” that seemed to tilt the energy of the room. Using this experience, the speaker introduces the concept of “showing up as the light” – embodying love, presence, and positivity in difficult or dark situations. He challenges viewers to consider how they can be that light for others, especially amid the chaos of the world, and ends with a personal shout‑out to his brother for consistently embodying this principle. The video’s purpose is to inspire listeners to adopt a mindset of active, loving presence in their daily lives.

Hey, good morning everyone. Here's your Moment of Yes for Monday, September 15th. That ladder doesn't look great back there, does it? No, just noticing that. All right, uh, authentic, very genuine and authentic videos. Moment of Yes for today. So, um, my father passed away last week. Some of you know that. Um, I was grateful that I was able to, to get back home, uh, to Flint Um, in time, um, my brother picked me up. We got over to his apartment, uh, and was able to be with him, um, you know, at the end, which, which was a peaceful transition. Uh, really, really grateful for that. Um, and had a friend, uh, had a, a childhood friend that was able— who's a minister— that was able to kind of show up, um, and be there. So the 3 of us was with him when we passed. And the cool thing about this friend who showed up Uh, is just this, this beam of light, right? He's just love, right? He like, he was like, uh, you know, like it was him coming into the room was like opening the shades, right? It was just light just burst in. And I, I know my dad felt that, um, in that moment. It was actually the moment when he passed. And so it just had me thinking about, wow, that's presence. That's presence walking into a room. Um, Limbless Minds, they call it room tilters, right? When someone walks into a room and it tilts the energy in the room. And it's just like, so, so, so what's it take, man? It takes showing up, showing up with love and showing up, um, as light. And, uh, that was pretty awesome. So it just got me thinking last few days, especially with so much of the craziness going on in our world, is, is, are we showing up as the light? Right. Are we showing up as the light? And that's it. That's it. Are you showing up as the light? And shout out to my brother who, I mean, he's been showing up as the light his whole life, but especially through, man, the last chunky years with my dad and him being the one who's 10 minutes away. Has had to just show up and show up and show up and show up through not easy circumstances, but just always would show up and be the light. And I don't know how he did it. Ask Tiger. You have to ask Tiger how to be the light. So we always have the opportunity, no matter how dark the space is that we're going into, how frustrating, how troublesome, how, you know, how stuck the space is, we Have the opportunity to be that light. So your moment of yes for today is, where are you going to be the light? Be it. That's your moment of yes for today. Have an awesome day, everyone. Love you, Dad. Love you, son.
