In this brief motivational video, the speaker delivers a daily “moment of yes” for Monday, September 23rd, using the theme “simple ain’t easy.” He cites Thelonious Monk’s observation that jazz may appear simple but is hard to master, and former baseball player Mike Schmidt’s advice to “do boring work well.” The speaker interprets these quotes to argue that success and happiness stem from focusing disciplined effort on the unglamorous, repetitive tasks that most people avoid. He acknowledges life’s distractions but urges listeners to identify and embrace the simple, high‑impact actions they can take today, framing the message as a practical call to action for the start of the week.
