The speaker shares three stories: a grueling 24-hour trip, coordinating healthcare for a family member, and Hurricane Ian's aftermath. His point: you can't control most of what happens. Notice the anxiety, let it go, focus on how you respond.

Hey, good morning everyone. Here's your moment of yes for Thursday, September 29th, back in the USA. I didn't get to, to one yesterday, long day. Um, and so this is your Wednesday, Thursday, Friday moment of yes. So, um, a couple of things that, that sort of got me thinking about the idea again of surrender, right? Surrendering the amount of, of control that we try to have over a situation, right? The first thing would be Yesterday was a super long international day of travel, about 24 hours worth. You know, three flights, international connections, yada yada, and the amount of no control you have over that situation. And so a constant reminder: notice my anxiety, notice stress, release it, surrender, listen, all of that. Again, always a great reminder. Secondly, having a family member who Everybody's trying to get some, you know, some healthcare services and things like that. You know, the communication between hospitals and healthcare and all that, and just the rigmarole with that that you can't control. You have to surrender. And then the third thing is a hurricane, right? Hurricane Ian going through Florida and the destruction and all of that. And I'm supposed to be in Florida at the end, uh, weekend and the week for some work. And, you know, thinking about the people down there as well as thinking about You know, work and implications and all this stuff that is uncontrollable, right? I can't control the weather, I can't control travel, I can't control, uh, you know, um, the medical industry. So it's all right, it's all an opportunity to surrender, to release, and then to focus on response. Release control, focus on response. Release control, focus on response. It's almost like the tides. Right? Releasing, you know, the control, focus on the response. Release control, focus on response. And so what do you need to release today and instead focus on your response? It's an old message, but it's a message that we need to hear over and over and over again. So peace to you. That's your moment of yes for today, everybody. Have an awesome day. Bye.
