In this short motivational talk, the speaker greets the audience and introduces the concept of a "moment of silence" not just as a ritual for mourning, but as a purposeful pause that can be taken before various daily activities—such as starting work, returning home, or engaging with family and friends. The speaker explains that these intentional silences allow individuals to become present, open to love and grace, clear mental clutter, and reset their thoughts. By creating space for reflection, the silence helps reveal what truly matters and enables one to act from a calmer, more focused mindset. The talk concludes with a challenge to the listeners: to incorporate as many moments of silence as possible throughout the day and experience their transformative power.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for today. Happy Sunday to you. Hopefully you've got something relaxing and inspiring planned for today. So the idea for today is a moment of silence. Now, for the most part, the only time we really take a moment of silence is in recognition of, of someone that we've lost, of a tragic moment, something to For lack of a better word, mourn. And so, which is great. Whenever you've had these collective or individual, you know, moments of silence, they can be very powerful, they can be very meaningful. But what would it look like if we allowed ourselves to take moments of silence beyond just remembering a tragic event? What if we took a moment of silence before we walked into work in the morning? What if we took a moment of silence before getting home at the end of the day or having a conversation with our children or friends? Everything that we do, what would it be like if we took a moment of silence beforehand to just be open, to reflect, open ourselves up to love, to grace, and, and just be present with what shows up in that moment, to get clear, to reboot our thoughts, to be present? That really is what a moment of silence has the power to do. It's opening ourselves up, allowing all of the other noise and distractions that might be sort of stealing the moment to get clear on them, to let them go, to notice what is really coming to the surface, what's important, and then to walk from that space. And so that is the power of what a moment of silence can do for us. So today, I'm going to challenge you all to take as many moments of silence as possible and to see how powerful they are for you. That's your moment of yes for today, everyone. Have a great day.
