A father watches his three kids wake up completely differently: one sprints in excited, one snuggles sleepy, one stumbles in disheveled. He uses these moments to argue there's no right way to be yourself, and that accepting how others show up is just as important as being authentic.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your Moment of Yes for today. I am having technical difficulties once again, but that's okay. I will persist. So your Moment of Yes for today is actually inspired by how my kids get up in the morning, especially this morning. The 9-year-old came in early and he just comes bopping in like he has— like he's a marionette, like he has no bones and just smiling, comes sprinting into the room. Good morning, Dad. My wife says, why are you running? And he goes, I'm just so happy to see you. How good does that feel in the morning? Then my 6-year-old comes in a few minutes later. He's got his blanket and he's kind of hair in front of the face and just kind of creeps up to the bed and all he wants to do is snuggle. And then my 11-year-old daughter, we haven't seen her yet because she's still sleeping. But when we do, it'll look like she's been hit by a truck and her hair and she'll just be Like the Sandman attacked her. So we're all different. And although, you know, the way that the 9-year-old runs in is fun, and the 6-year-old's a great snuggler, and there is no— there's no right way or wrong way to live your authenticity and how we show up and how we express ourselves. There is no wrong way. The only right way is to do your way to its fullest and to live and be the best version of yourself that you can be. And for us, To embrace how other people show up. So it's twofold: for us to live our full authenticity and then for us to embrace how others show up, how they live their yes. So that's your moment of yes for you to live big and for you to accept and embrace how others live. Side note, starting a week from today, January 2nd, is the Yes 101 program for 2014. It's going to be big, it's going to be fun. Sign up for yourself or have a friend or something sign up. Let me know. Starts a week from today. It's going to be a lot of fun. That's your moment of yes for today, everyone. Have a great day. Bye.
