Good morning everyone. Here is your moment of yes for today. Today, we are going to be conscious. We are going to be conscious of the thoughts, the beliefs, the fears that are running our day. Now, a couple days ago, we talked about letting things rise to the surface by being quiet, by being silent. And that's what we're going to do today. So, I challenge you to take 5 minutes to sit in silence for 5 minutes. You can do that on your couch, you can do it in bed, you can do it Even driving your car, to turn off the radio, sit in silence. And if you feel like you're unable to do this without being distracted, just try the simple breathing technique of just breathing in and out, slow, kind of deep breaths in and out through your nose, and just pay attention to your breathing as your focus. And there's a good chance your thoughts are going to leave that and go elsewhere, and that's okay. So at the end of 5 minutes, just notice— and actually during— but just pay attention to where your thoughts are going. And after the end of 5 minutes, just reflect back and go, okay, where did my thoughts go? What kind of rose to the surface? What seems important to me right now? And so let's notice them, let's take ownership of them, and let's be conscious of them. So instead of just always trying to change our thoughts and think about something differently, With those other thoughts, with whatever we're thinking about just kind of lying there under the surface. Let's be conscious of them. As we go throughout our day today, let's be conscious of the things that are really nagging at us, creating fear, anxiety, stress, that are just coming to the top of the surface over and over again. And instead of trying to deny them and hide from them, be conscious of them. And we can look at them, we can look at them a little deeper, we can challenge them, we can look at what's behind This feeling of stress or anxiety, you can do the work on it. You can do some inquiry. So spend some time with that today and just be conscious. There's so much concern about needing to go into quiet silence or meditation and find this tremendous sense of peace because you're so still. That's great, but if at the end of five minutes you come out and you're able to just notice and be conscious of what's. running your day. That's kind of peace in itself. So that's your moment of yes for today, everyone. Good luck and have a wonderful day.
