The speaker asks you to track how much time you spend doing (errands, email, social media, TV) versus being (stillness, silence, presence). Set reminders to pause and notice your ratio. More time being, he says, brings more peace and joy.

Good morning everyone. Here's your moment of yes for today. Happy Friday to all of you. Yes, it's Friday again. Nice. So your moment of yes for today is, what is your doing versus being ratio? Your doing to being ratio. So think about that today as you go through your day or as you go through your weekend this weekend. Notice the amount of Of activities and things that you're actually doing, you're in a mode of doing, compared to the amount of time that you spend just being in a state of being, of being present, of being still, of being silent, compared to having to do activities, run errands, even just the sense of having to do something as far as You know, social media, doing emails, watching TV, kind of anything that takes, takes your attention away from just being present, being in the now, and listening. So that would be the being. The doing would be any activity or any stimulation that takes you away and distracts the mind. So what is your doing versus being ratio? So at the end of the day today, or at a couple different times, you know, set a couple reminders for yourself to actually stop, pause, actually force being, to stop and pause and to look back and go, okay, how much time have I spent doing and how much time have I spent being? In my experience, my gut would tell me that the more time that you actually start to put on the scale of being, the more sense of peace and joy and fulfillment you're going to feel. Throughout your day compared to the unconscious doing. So being versus doing. Spend some time noticing that today. Let me know if anything shows up. That's your moment of yes. Have a great day, everyone.
