In this short motivational monologue recorded from his car, the speaker invites listeners to consider whether they view their life journey as a straight highway or a roundabout. He argues that seeing life as a highway can create anxiety about missed turns and lost opportunities, whereas viewing it as a roundabout reflects a cyclical learning process where lessons repeat until one can ‘exit’ at the right moment. Using a reference to National Lampoon’s European Vacation and the imagery of Big Ben and Parliament, he illustrates that spiritual growth and opportunities are always present, even if the form changes. The core message is that opportunities are never truly missed; they await us while we learn the necessary lessons, and when we finally ‘get left’ from the roundabout, the right opportunity is already there. The talk ends with an encouraging “moment of yes” for the audience.

Good morning, everyone. Here is your moment of yes for today from my beautiful production studio, better known as my car. Good morning. So your moment of yes for today, let me ask you a question. Do you see your path, your journey, your life, do you see it as a highway or as a roundabout? Well, if you see it as a highway, You might get stressed or feel a lot of anxiety feeling like you missed a turn. Because if I was supposed to do something back then and I missed that turn, maybe that opportunity is never going to come along again. And I get that. I understand that. I catch myself feeling that way at times as well, thinking that if I am not paying attention or if my head is in the wrong spot, I am going to miss an opportunity that punishes me for the rest of my life or punishes my professional career. And that's kind of a stressful and scary frame of mind to have. What I tend to think about life is less as a highway but more as a roundabout. And if anyone saw National Lampoon's European Vacation, Clark and the family just couldn't get left. So he kept going around and around and around and around until he could finally get left. Big Ben kids, Parliament. That's what I feel life is, at least for me. My spiritual path, my spiritual journey. I think the lessons and the opportunities are always there waiting for us. We just can't always get left. We can't always get out of the rut or the frame of thinking or the fear or the belief or the judgment that is keeping us in that roundabout. But when we do, when we do Evolve and figure out that life lesson, I believe we're able to get off that roundabout and our opportunity has been sitting there waiting for us the whole time. Now the form might be different, but the growth, the opportunity, the abundance is right there all along. So if you think life is a highway and you're gonna miss a turn, that can be stressful. But if you're stuck on a roundabout and you're just learning that lesson over and over again until you get it, and when you do get it, Right where you're supposed to be has been waiting for you all along. Never been missed. So hopefully that resonates with you today, everyone. Have a great day. That's your moment of yes.
